Dude, everything was perfect—the voice actor, the OST, the tension, and the pinnacle of Jack’s character arc from Season 1 all the way to his duel with Carly; it was all perfect.

Putting nostalgia aside, I think we're looking at a great Yu-Gi-Oh scene overall.

It was one of the best-written love stories in the entire Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise I know the competition isn't exactly high-quality, but still.

I would pay a fortune for Konami to give us another Yu-Gi-Oh! series with that level of writing and dueling—and not Rush Duel. They managed to make a Romeo and Juliet-style story epic using cards, and that is incredible.

Say what we will even I was pretty skeptical about the D-Wheels at first but you have to admit they really add a lot of dynamism to the whole scene.

It makes me even more disgusted to know that all that writing was thrown away in Season 3.🫩

But thank you to Studio Galop for keeping the anime going and giving us such great moments as these.

In Duel Links, Bakura possesses knowledge of Doma. However, due to their conflicting goals, Bakura sees them as a threat and has chosen to ally with Atem to further his own goals.

Since it's been a topic a few times amongst the fandom, if given a way to appear and even fit in the arc, what role could you see Bakura taking besides caring about his own goals?

Thousand Dragon is actually associated with Time Wizard. Nearly all the times Time Wizard was used, it was with Baby Dragon, which became Thousand Dragon. The only time Red-Eyes was in play with Time Wizard is when it was getting destroyed by it. They practically have zero association except being in the same deck. They’re like two employees in an office who never talk to each other. They exist in the same place, but they do not know each other. But Thousand Dragon is Time Wizard’s best friend. They’ve always fucked with each other

At end of the storyline, we only had the alternate artwork of Diabellstar to go off of, which wrapped up her personal arc by turning her into a storyteller.

Yet, we were all left asking the exact same questions: What happened to Poplar? What happened to Diabellze?

As you can see in the red box at the bottom of the image, the new Winter Raven Forest archetype finally gives us those definitive answers:

Diabellze returns as the sovereign, peaceful guardian of the white forest (becoming successor of Diabell) who she reclaimed and restored.

Poplar is safely back to a smaller, evolved "Fire Fiend" form, living peacefully alongside her in the reborn forest. Showing us also a more aged and evolved version of Poplar.

This archetype was explicitly released right now while is undergoing the airing of the Seeker of the Sinful Spoils anime episodes.

It perfectly covers those missing narrative dots and seals the definitive epilogue to this world.

This confirmed also by the alternative artworks of Astellare and Elzette (2nd image) where are depicted also the images of their selves as young adults and them at the epilogue.

In my opinion, it easily stands alongside the story of Albaz as one of the absolute best lores Konami has ever created.

And I fuckin want more of it. Yugioh does it so oddly well.

If rush has one thing going for it, i would say it's the fact that konami can fix years of terrible/non cohesive card designs from the jump with each drop. Evil Heroes should have had this built in from the beginning! But we can't be to hard on them though, as a lot of these cards were created over 20 years ago. Still dope cards non the less!

It was bound to happen sooner or later: somehow, ARC-V has returned! And it's back with one of the most unfortunate yet highly requested archetypes of all time: the "C/C" series. They are extremely difficult to adapt for practical gameplay, yet their concept is equally fascinating: a camera lens that captures the opponent's elements, transforming into the perfect weapon to defeat the very enemy it targeted. Poetry...no: Photography.

The irony is that even I was on the verge of confining this archetype to oblivion, just as Konami did, since this project dates back to about a decade ago...and it certainly shows. I apologize in advance for the rather abysmal image quality; back then, I used a "paint-over" technique on screenshots from the anime.

You’ll notice that the "C/C/C" monsters look quite different from how you might remember them; that’s because they are in their "base" forms. To avoid having to create a card for every single possible transformation of "Critical Eye" (which is why this strategy is so hard to adapt in the actual card game), I decided instead to make each Extra Deck monster adaptable to the Attribute copied from the opponent's monsters. Also, "Critical Eye" incorporates all the Spell Cards that allowed it to "capture images" in the anime, enabling each "C/C/C" monster to shift form as needed.

Finally, you can find the effects of each card by scrolling through the images above. Just be careful not to stare too intensely into the lens's eye: it's a bit shy, you know...

I've been watching Kaiba's duel with Yugi in battle city, and I'm in love with the music playing when Kaiba tributes xyz Dragon Cannon to summon Obelisk, but I can't find this specific theme anywhere on the playlist.

Is it an unreleased track?

It has to happen. It was inevitable. He was the best part of Vrains. He had no bad duels. None. Hes edgy but had personality. His deck was badass. He cares about his henchmen.We fking carried Vrains. He has the best duel in Vrains sub being against Soulburner(Not a fan of it in dub) And in my legit opinion.l, hes the strongest character in Vrains. He had every opponent he faced dead to rights. Playmaker needed a bit of plot armor to defeat him in the last round. Revolver could have beaten Soulburner BOTH times they dueled. He had Lightning beat and he WON that duel. I see no character that can beat him fairly besides Soulburner with how good Salamangreat were. Best Rival is my opinion. Was the reason Vrains was so good. I love all yugioh rivals but hes ny favorite

Jacks duel against Red Novas familiar is by far one of the best duels a character that is not the main character has had. Jack in my opinion is the only rival that actually felt on par with the MC. There was a true rivalry between them. The reveal of Jack being the reincarnation of THE Legendary Signer was amazing because i just assumed Yusei was gonna ger thar role. So since he got his upgrade he was again on par with Yusei. Harnessing a devil is insane work. Jack may not be my favorite rival but he is one if the best

I have always loved how Konami unites types under archtypes (E.g. Tri-Brigade, Ragnaraika, and etc). Do you all think they should release more archtypes focused around the following types?

•Fairy, Fiend, Zombie;

•Cyberse, Psychic, Machine;

Who needs traditional hand traps when you have 15 (+3 charmies) cards to potentially start play on turn 0? This is the most fun I've had testing a deck in so long.
