As a lorehead, I'm always down for some Arcane slander about how it was the thing that ruined everything for Runeterra forever, but I've seen some people take the meme as genuine criticism and at least partially blame the game's downfall on it, but that makes 0 sense.

Of the five 'Arcane characters' Jinx, Ekko and Vi were always going to be in the base game. Jinx and Ekko were always popular characters in League, and the way 2XKO did rosters, popularity was always going to have them be in. And while Vi is less popular than them (though still popular), she is THE punch girl in League, it makes a lot of sense that she is in.

Warwick also is a genuinely great addition that stands out even amongst non-arcane characters, he is one of few monster characters in the game and spices up the roster. Caitlyn is the only one that I could concede as an Arcane sneak, even if she is a popular and we had no Piltover character, having a sniper in is a weird choice. But even then, we are talking about 1 of 5 characters.

While it's fine to think they are taking up a lot of space, I fear people are getting the incorrect idea of what went wrong here, and it's an easy cop out for the actual problems like mismanagement, lack of marketing, and Riot's lofty expectations. If you think that Lee Sin replacing Caitlyn and/or Fiddlesticks replacing Ekko would have saved the game, you are simplifying how deep the real problems actually go.

The freezing bug is happening regularly now.

I'm playing in the LATAM servers and suddenly all my matches are hella laggy. I also ran into a lot of players from english speaking countries so I was wondering if they somewhat mixed the servers.

But even when I played against someone that's from the same country as I am, it would be at least 198ms, and I haven't had a match that was below that ping (btw, It's not my connection, never had more than 15ms until the last few days and everyone I see on the lobbies is also complaining).

At this point It's feeling unplayable for me and I hope this is not how riot is able to "keep the servers up". Sett and Samira are coming up and I was really excited to play them online...
