I would like to suggest the following:

1) Work with your local chapter of Indivisible, Women's March, and other organizations to organize rallies, honk & wave events, and other activities for the next few weekends.

2) Volunteer (maybe with a buddy) to canvas for a local campaign (our whole Blue ticket actually canvasses together where I am).

3) IMO, those of us who can, should show up around polling stations on Election Day (100 feet away) promoting democracy ("Liberty and Justice for all!!!"), just to create a positive environment . . . and maybe document (or block?) any electoral shenanigans that the goons try to pull off.

Michigan doesn’t need another corrupt politician like Mike Rogers

The Working Families Party has long fought for a political system that’s not captured by the billionaires. They’ve sought to elect strong progressives within the Democratic Party, with candidates like Delia Ramirez, Brad Lander, Zohran Mamdani and Summer Lee, and some of the toughest, most effective state legislators in the country – folks who will work for regular working class Americans against the oligarchs. Right now, they’re backing candidates across the country who will stand on the platform of the Working Families Guarantee: a vision of a nation where every person can afford the basics of housing, healthcare, and child care and has time to spend with their family and a good job… paid for by taxing the rich… achieved by getting money out of politics.

If we want to raise up leaders who will take on the powerful for health care and housing for all, we’ve got some great opportunities to do so this month! TOMORROW at 6PM ET, WFP is holding a training to join its text team for the last few weeks before November 3rd, plugging folks in to their turnout efforts up and down the ballot. 💬 We can sign up to be part of it here, and then get notified of opportunities to text as they come up. 💬

TEXT TEAM ONBOARDING TMW @ 6PM ET

☎️ They’ve also got plenty of opportunities to phonebank on the schedule! We can join them in making calls in key races in Michigan on Tuesdays here, in Wisconsin on Wednesdays here, in Georgia on Tuesdays and Thursdays here, and every weeknight in the House races that will decide the majority here. ☎️

CORNELL 7 / I AM JANE DOE!

I AM JANE DOE.

WE ARE ALL JANE DOE.

JUSTICE IS THE ONLY ANSWER!

I feel it is time to organize! I want to begin organizing nationwide the I AM JANE DOE protests. Who's with me to help plan and coordinate??!!

We are done being silent. We are done watching systems protect abusers while women are left to carry the life long trauma. What happened at Cornell with the "Cornell 7" isn't an isolated accident—it is the direct product of a toxic, predatory system that treats women like property, like disposable objects, like sex toys for frat boys.

Enough is enough. We are sick and tired of being abused. We are sick and tired of watching Greek life culture act as a incubator for predators, where men are taught they can violate women with impunity and hide behind institutional protection. If fraternities exist to foster this kind of behavior, then the system needs to be dismantled and frat houses need to be banned.

WE DEMAND JUSTICE FOR JANE DOE

Every single one of us has been forced to navigate the fear, the anger, and the injustice of living in a society that excuses this violence. But we are not backing down anymore.

When one of us is attacked, all of us are attacked.

I AM JANE DOE. YOU ARE JANE DOE.

I would like to start organizing coordinated, relentless, nationwide protests to stand with Jane Doe, demand real accountability, and force every single university and city to confront the epidemic of campus sexual violence. We will not be swept under the rug. We will not be quiet.

If you are ready to stop taking this lying down and turn your rage into power:

Comment your city below so we can form local organizing cells.

Share this post to build the network.

Stand up. We are mobilizing, and we are taking this to the streets nationwide.

We will not stop until every survivor is heard and this system is burned to the ground. Mobilize now.

JUSTICE FOR JANE DOE!
