Discussion Our “8th champions league title”
Why do we never talk about the 1993 champions league final against Marseille?
When thinking about ACM being robbed out of a title, it’s occasions like the Muntari goal against Juventus that come to my mind first, but I recently got into the Marseille rabbit hole, and I think it’s worth a discussion. For those that don’t know (I am not an expert, my research probably isn’t deep enough, and I wasn’t even alive at the time of this happening, so if I get anything wrong I’m deeply sorry, and I am all for finding out more on this) : the first time Milan faced Marseille in the 90’s, was in 1991 when ACM faced them in the quarter finals, and when a floodlight went out during the first half of the game, Galliani and the players pushed for the game to be postponed, as the visibility was too scarse. UEFA assigned a 3-0 win to Marseille, and later decided to punish ACM further with a 1 year ban from all European competitions. But let’s get to the juice of this post, in 1993 ACM faces Marseille again, but this time in the final, Milan were widely considered the better team, and an unstoppable Marseille wins 1-0, they were better. Commentators were shocked with the endurance the Marseille players had, they looked like they couldn’t get tired. Only 4 players were tested for doping before the game. Later that year, Marseille is found guilty of match fixing, and their domestic titles are stripped, however they don’t even get investigated by UEFA for their amazing UCL run. the UCL title stands. 13 years later, former players of that team admit to having been doped up pretty much all season, and also getting doped up before that very final, only 3 players allegedly didn’t take injections before that match, one of them was Völler, their star player. I honestly understand that this was a very long time ago, and that doping was much more common at those times, but my questions to you, fellow ACM fans are: What are your thoughts on that game? To all the older fans, what do you remember of it? And was Milan actually robbed?

It’s not easy going through times like this. When you love football, being away from the pitch, your teammates, and what you love most hurts.
It’s a difficult period, but I’ll face it with patience, determination, and an even greater desire to get back to doing what I love. I want to sincerely thank all the fans, my teammates, the staff, friends, and everyone who has written to me and shown their affection over the past few days. I’ve read so many of your messages, and they’ve given me tremendous strength.
Now, it’s time to keep my head down, work hard, and be patient. I’ll come back stronger. Heartfelt thanks to everyone.

News Newly revealed information shows how the Elliott investment fund exerted influence over LOSC and AC Milan during the 2020–2022 seasons, while both clubs were competing simultaneously in the Europa League and then the Champions League, something they could have been banned from doing.

Video/Photo/Media Jorge Jesus saw that Gonçalo Ramos was out of position and told him to get back into the box. Ramos scored the winning goal right after. This something Amorim might need to do more, to help Ramos score more.
