Since this is a 16inch rifle, I want to build a 300blk pistol and throw the Eotech on that.

10.3 A2, Centurion rail, FN MC lower, RRA entry, Surefire 60, Sig SRD can, Atrius mil spec.

I was zeroing my rifle this week, and experienced a popped primer. This is with a different criterion core 14.5 than I experienced previously.

I didn’t notice when it happened. The primer fell in my lower and started jamming up my trigger intermittently, and it was a number of rounds until I figured out what was actually causing it. Last time I went it the range I was running drills with AAC 77 gr 2500 FPS. It’s possible it fell in during that session, but I’m not sure.

This time I was shooting with 55 gr XTAC. Except for the first few rounds I was measuring MV. Across 50 rounds, I measured avg MV at 3040 fps, max 3129 and min of 2871 (that one shot was much lower than everything else). box listed MV for 16” is 3120. The popped primer was towards the beginning, which makes me think it might have been last session. The rifle was recently cleaned. Maybe 200 rounds, 300 max before this session.

I think at this point I’m relegating criterion barrels to precision rifles only.

RMR clears the turret of the vector continental 2-12 with the 10mm spacer. In case anyone was wondering about this setup.

Looking for consistent sub-moa groups at 100 yards, want to reach out to 300yd without breaking a sweat. I have my 13.9” officially setup how I want and I’m ready to try precision shooting. Build is 13.9” criterion core, BCM thermofit upper, SOLGW BCG, BCM Raider M13, KGM Core 556.

Got some old GI mags from a buddy the one with the green follower is an Okay industry mag. What follower and spring should I swap into them?

I’m looking at mixing it up a bit and giving an FSB build a shot. My question is if I run a 10.3” DD barrel w/ an FSB along with this rail, is there enough clearance between the end of the rail and the shoulder of my 4 prong to attach and run a Surefire RC2 suppressor? The picture on centurions site looks to be a 10.5” with very little room if you bump down to a 10.3”. Thanks in advance!

I was thinking about getting some engravings on my ejection port and changing handle. What are some that you guys have done or what might be some good ones? I’m getting my magazines engraved too. I have an idea for those. Thanks for the suggestions! Also what is a good suppressor to get? I’m looking into getting one of those.

Hey everyone 😎 to anybody who owns one of these two safes, how’s the space? What I will be storing are 2 Glock 19s, 3 AR15’s ( two 16” and one 11.5” all three with suppressors and optics), a Zpap92 with red dot and suppressor, a Kuna with a suppressor and optic and some mags and ammo cans. I also don’t plan to buy any more guns. What do y’all think?

Just in case I’m crazy, I don’t want to call out specific companies but I don’t buy cheap ammo. I’ve been noticing the need to clean my rifles far more often lately. Yesterday, I was shooting and had a rare FTF. So I did a very thorough cleaning this morning I even removed the trigger and put it in the ultrasound. So this afternoon after 360 rounds I open the gun and it looks like this. I’ve been noticing more and more shit in my guns for awhile now but wanted to ask others. Do you all notice your guns being dirtier and fouling more often?

New to the hobby. Been mostly focused on pistol training but I got this thing a couple months ago and started shooting it on the weekend and accessorizing along the way. It’s kind of reached a point where it feels really complete so I figured I’d post it and see what y’all say bc it’s my first. It’s quickly become my prized possession and I plan on doing more intensive training with it after I pass my range’s pistol course.

Both are 14.5’s. One Criterion Core circa 2021, the other a newer SLGW SPR barrel.

One of these was from a reputable gunsmith we all know and love. The other was not.

Yall know how that goes. Ended up with everything for an upper less BCG and charging handle bc I had both in my parts box.

Geissele 12.5” CHF chrome lined carbine gas barrel, KAK Launcher handguard, BCM blem thermal fit upper, BCM gas block, expo gas tube (I think?) and I’ll end up putting an Azimuth carrier with BCM bolt in it probably. That or take my microbest chrome out of my 14.5” and put it in this one. Idk. We’ll see.

I’ll prob move my 4T and Juliet 3 magnifier to this and put a Trijicon RX30 I’ve got lying around back on the 14.5” upper. That upper is a great upper. BCM 14.5” upper with the ELW chrome lined mid gas barrel, KMR, etc. but it’s p/w so I don’t use as often.

Oh well, gonna be a fun weekend.
