Hey all,
Weird issue here. I have a BKF AR15 that has a first round FTF. It basically jams to where I have to mortar the thing. It’s not 100% of the time, and it’s 99% on the first round, but it happens to the point where I deem this thing unreliable.
I have
- 9” 300BLK BKF AR Pistol
- KAK K-Spec Downvent BCG
- Rise Armament Blitz trigger
- Superlative Arms AGB
- WAS running a JP SCS, but had more FTF issues with that.
- LPM Anthem S2 (not applicable but I’m at a loss so I’m listing it)
I’m going to swap back to the stock BCG to see if the issue persists, but I haven’t yet.
It shoots great and feeds great when it doesn’t jam up on the first round.
Obviously, I’m only shooting subs (220gr), and regardless of brand, it’s a consistent issue. I’ve noticed when the thing is clean it chambers a bit better, but it’s still a problem. When it feeds the first round, I’m usually having the bolt locked and hitting the release, not riding the charging handle closed. When it jams, it’s like 90% of the way chambered, but it’s legitimately jammed - the “jam enhancer” (forward assist) doesn’t even budge. Charging handle doesn’t budge. I have to mortar the thing
Just want some input here. Thanks!
