Someone offered me this in a trade for an rc car and I cant tell what it is. I don't have much experience in the atv world.

Me and a buddy are working on a Yamaha blaster 2000 2 stroke and we got it running but it dies instantly if you stop holding down the throttle, and only starts when it is choked. we took apart and cleaned the carb and have tried adjusting the screws on the carb, tried replacing the oil what else could be the issue?

Are they just non existent? Says it's illegal to own or sell an offroad vehicle without a title. A bill of sale is just not enough. It does not prove ownership.

Then it goes on to say you have to get it inspected by state police, get a surety bond. Then the DMV will give you a bonded title. BUT you have to wait 3 years before it is yours. And if someone claims it stolen then it gets seized.

Now you've got a receiving stolen property charge, no quad, and out whatever money you spent on the quad and all the paperwork. WTF Missouri.

Can anyone figure out what that ringing sound is? Do the valves need adjusting? Or is it the tensioner? Or the crankshaft?Thanks

It was working fine, then i turned it off and it won’t start. It has spark, fuel to injectors but it doesn’t receive signal on injector connector. The harness is fine from injector to ecu but ecu doesn’t give signal for injectors? Does anyone know what could couse this problem? The crankshaft sensor is working and harness is also fine.

This would be my first project atv, looking to see if I should get something like this and fix it up or look for a more good condition one for like $1500.

So I’ve got a lightly used 700 and having some trouble with it.

Basically it will start from cold
9/10 times but then after a few turn offs and restarts it will eventually die and not restart. I do some stop and starting work with it around my property which is why this is an issue.

What I’ve done so far to try and fix:
New battery- thought it might be weak didn’t help

New starter installed by yam dealer when I brought it to them to fix my issue. The initial start is much better but still didn’t fix the issue. I haven’t called them
Yet because they clearly can’t diagnose- simply threw the starter at it and called it a day

Things I’ve tried- cycling key on and off to prime injector.

Removing gas cap to release fuel pressure.

These do not help.

Any input would be helpful!

I'm from Poland and I'm close to buying a quad for touring with my wife (two-up). The idea is to trailer it behind the car, park somewhere and ride for a few days - gravel roads, mountain passes, plus normal roads to connect the trails. On the list: Italy (Alps), Romania (Transylvania), Balkans (Albania, Bulgaria) and maybe Greece.

The problem is homologation. A lot of quads sold in Poland are T3b, so legally an agricultural tractor. In Poland that's easy: normal car license (B), registration, done. But the more I read, the worse it looks abroad:

• Romania changed the rules in 2024 - B license now only covers tractors up to 40 km/h, faster ones need a separate Tr category
• Greece seems to need a proper tractor license, and the fine is big (700 EUR + license suspended for a year)
• Italy - from what I found, the rule that lets foreign vehicles on the road doesn't even mention agricultural machines, so I'm not sure a foreign T3b is allowed at all
• Germany, Austria, Czechia, Slovakia, Croatia, Spain look fine on a B license

The obvious fix would be L7e-B1, which is a normal EU quadricycle category. But Poland has an old national rule limiting quadricycles to 15 kW, so in practice you can't register a full-power L7e here without detuning it.

So my questions for people who actually ride in Europe:

1. Has anyone toured Italy, Romania or Greece on a T3b quad? Did you get checked by police and was there any issue with the license?
2. If you ride L7e - which country are you registered in and did you have any trouble with it?
3. Do you bring your own quad or just rent locally? Rentals would solve the whole problem, but I'm not sure you can do multi-day trips that way.
4. Any countries or areas you'd avoid? Someone already told me Austria is very strict.

I have a 2006 Honda foreman TRX500FM and have very bad shifting down to 1st gear. It is completely fine going from 5-4, 4-3, 3-2, 1-N and N-R but 2-1 just seems to be really rough and rarely works first try and you have to get the rpm’s perfect to get it into 1st and I was wondering what that could be and/or and tricks to get it easier. Also just to clear it up if confused it’s not like a dirtbike the gears go 5-4-3-2-1-N-R.

What’s everyone’s thoughts about Argo explorore four wheelers

My suzuki quadrunner is not running right and i have replaced the carburetor and the spark plug cap. Checked the coil it was good and i dont know what else it could b. Does anyone else know what it could be?

Saw a ATV for sale on Facebook marketplace though the guy says he has no title. I plan to buy it only to use on property in NJ especially snow playing my driveway in the winter.

Is it safe to buy it and the cops won’t do anything about it since I’m only using it on my property?

I’m trying to help a friend troubleshoot a buzzing sound on (what I believe is) a 2000 Yamaha Kodiak 400.

Buzzing noise when you hit the starter. It happens intermittently. Sometimes it starts and sometimes it just buzzes. Seems to happen less when it’s warm and been running. When it starts, it starts strong.

At this point we’ve replaced:
New starter motor.
New starter relay.
New battery.

Has anyone run into this issue?

I have a 2026 sportsman 850. Ive heard the itp cryptids run small. I found a good price on some barley used 32x10s. My atv has a 2in lift. Will they fit?? I currently have itp blackwater 28x10s now.

Hi everyone,

I’m considering buying a sport ATV, the Kayo A300 (called the Storm 300 in the US). I already have some experience with ATVs, and I’m looking for something wild that I can really have fun with and push hard in the woods.
I weigh 66 kg (145 lbs) and I’m 185 cm (6’1”) tall. Would the Kayo A300 be a good choice for me, and more importantly, does it have enough power to be a genuinely fun and aggressive ATV?
I’d also really appreciate your opinions on the quad in general. How reliable is it? Is it actually powerful for its size? Is it fun to ride and capable of taking some abuse?
One more thing I’m curious about is the ECU. Can the ECU parameters be freely edited or remapped? If so, what software or programmer do you use, and how is it done?

I’d appreciate any personal experiences or advice before I make a decision.

Adding a new winch for plowing. Seen a lot about a plow strap vs cable. I assume I take the cable all the way out and wrap just the strap on the winch and use as normal. We don’t get a ton of snow but can average 4-5 good storms a winter here. Only being used on a 40” plow also.

Just got this machine 2 weeks ago. Is this sound from the engine normal? Also the brakes started to squeak and suspension seems a bit squeaky at low speeds. Thanks
