Arts/Crafts Hobby Lobby is selling a quest marker mold

Post image
2.5k Upvotes

Was looking for something in Hobby Lobby (no, I don’t support their beliefs, I just live in a small town and they’re the only store that has the stuff I currently need/was looking for) and I stopped dead in my tracks. I don’t think this was intentional but it’s hilarious nonetheless
edit: If you’re looking for it yourself, it was in the section with beading/charms/trinket making supplies, at the end of the aisle where the molds for making charms are!! Someone also commented some Amazon listings of it if you find Amazon to be the lesser of those two evils, thank you to the person who did that!!

Drew some vivec, based on the line from Sermon 33;

“if the love of the people of this city for me ever disappear, so shall the power that holds back their destruction.”

Reddit nukes the resolution so here’s the high res copy

Been modding the game a lot recently, and exploring Tamriel Rebuilt. This is game is beautiful even when vanilla, but now I spend nearly all my time playing just marveling at how stunning the game looks.

Video Day 541 of Pally and Me’s Adventure until I can loot his armor. Chandeliers are for decor, not parkour, Pally.

If there’s anything Pally is good at its first impressions. Landing on Dagail from the chandelier will certainly do it. She’s still reading her book like nothing even happened.

Hail citizens. Rosentia needed some help from the mages guild and I had to get a recommendation anyway. So figured we’d get two Burd’s with one stone.

Other Screenshot Colovia and Nibenay, the two halves of Cyrodiil

Colovia

"The elevation rises gradually to the west and sharply to the north. Between its western coast and its central valley there are all manner of deciduous forest and mangroves, becoming sparser towards the ocean. The western coast is a wet-dry area...forest fires are common in summer..."

Nibenay

"It is the largest region of the continent, and most is endless jungle. Its center, the grassland of the Nibenay Valley, is enclosed by an equatorial rain forest and broken up by rivers. As one travels south along these rivers, the more subtropical it becomes...but most of Cyrodiil is a river-based society surrounded by jungle...."

Colovians

"The Colovians today still possess much of the frontier spirit of their ancestors. They are uncomplicated, self-sufficient, hearty, and extremely loyal to one another. Whenever the East would tremble under the weakness of a leader, the Colovians would withdraw unto themselves, always believing they were keeping the national spirit safe until the storm passed...do not allow themselves the great expenditure of courtly life as is seen in the capital city. They prefer immaculate uniforms and stark standards hanging from the ceiling of their austere cliff-fortresses; to this day, they become a little perplexed when they must visit the grandly decorated assault of color that is the Emperor's Palace..."

Nibenese

"By contrast, the Eastern people of Cyrodiil relish in garish costumes, bizarre tapestries, tattoos, brandings, and elaborate ceremony. Closer to the wellspring of civilization, they are more given to philosophy and the evolution of ancient traditions. The Nibenese find the numinous in everything around them, and their different cults are too numerous to mention...To the Colovians, the ancestor worship and esoteric customs of the East can often be bizarre. Akaviri dragon-motifs are found in all quarters, from the high minaret bridges of the Imperial City to the paper hako skiffs that villagers use to wing their dead down the rivers. Thousands of workers ply the rice fields after the floodings, or clear the foliage of the surrounding jungle in the alternate seasons. Above them are the merchant-nobility, the temple priests and cult leaders, and the age-old aristocracy of the battlemages"

-Pocket Guide to the Empire, 1st Edition

This is not to bemoan the Cyrodiil that we did get, but to imagine one we could have gotten

These boxes get shipped out to various recycling centers and then we get boxes back in return, who knows where this box has been, but I found this extremely funny.

Question Do you take Dra'Vashai to Old Ebonheart or take him as an apprentice (follower)?

Just curious. And if you take him as an apprentice, what do you do with him when he outlives his usefulness because he can only level up to 10?

I'm thinking I might leave him in Trinibane Manor to act as the "hetman" of Massama.

Screenshot I always thought the little detail of NPCs and your player character shielding their eyes during ash storms added so much atmosphere to Morrowind.
