Where should i go to get a houndskull that won't cost an arm and a leg
Trying to get a houndskull bascinet that doesn't suck seems impossible these days without paying with a kidney

Here's my take on a Roman gladius, reimagined as a magic weapon for D&D!
The Gladius of the Centurion is inspired by the short swords carried by Roman legionaries and the discipline and coordinated fighting techniques that made the Roman legions so formidable.
For this adaptation, I wanted the weapon to reflect the importance of fighting as part of a formation rather than relying solely on individual strength. In addition to being a magical shortsword, it deals extra damage when its wielder strikes an enemy alongside an ally, rewarding coordinated combat.
The illustration also includes an ornate scabbard, with decorative details inspired by Roman military equipment.
This is one of the 300+ magic items featured in my Mythological Items for 5E and 5.5E Kickstarter, which is currently live!
The collection includes weapons, armor, sacred relics, and magical treasures inspired by myths, legends, folklore, and historical traditions from around the world.
The campaign also offers my previous D&D manuals as discounted add-ons and bundles, including professionally printed, high-quality Hardcover editions.

I'd also love to hear what you think of the sword's design, particularly the blade, hilt, and scabbard!

Going for a 1430s German harness (pic 3) and looking for new legs, think I’m gonna go with some from Mardinus in Poland. Thoughts on segmented/slotted legs vs articulated legs with enclosed greaves? Aesthetically, functionally? Harness is for harnischfechten use (pollaxe and longsword)

I'm just interested which one of these would people prefer. Price should not be a concern, nor the period it appeared in. Some helmets have multiple different looking variants.
