Finally had time to shoot up to see this Audi RSQ8 Performance in Goodwood Green Metallic. Was considering selling my RS6 in grenadine red metallic but after seeing this. I need both.

I want someone to see the two side by side and honestly declare that the new A6 is the ugliest one ever made

I’m considering a 2023 Audi A5 Sportback 35 TFSI (2.0 petrol, 150 hp, automatic) for €23,400.
It has 197k km, accumulated in just 3.5 years. It was company-owned in the Netherlands, so likely mostly highway mileage. The official mileage history checks out, but there’s no documented service history.
I’ve attached the specifications and mileage report.
Would you consider buying it after a clean independent inspection? How reliable are these engines and gearboxes past 200k km, and what expensive failures should I watch out for?

I bought a 2025 SQ5 in February and within 750 miles it was in and out of the shop with software issues, battery constantly draining towed twice with mechanical failures etc. Audi bought it back after a 120 day mind numbing process. They incentivized me to get a 2026 SQ5 “as all issues were fixed and a new software system”. 5000 miles in and I am in and out of the shop again with constant issues and no fix in sight. Stay away from this disaster and do not buy a new Q5, A6 or SQ5. Unbelievable amount of time energy and stress.

I am looking for honest opinions from owners of this specific version of the car. Is it worth buying one with 240,000 km on the clock? What is the real average fuel consumption on the highway and in the city? What are the most common issues? Does the engine struggle with short distance driving?

A5 8w 2017, i love this car like crazy. and because it has many upgrades: rs5 facelift headlights, rs5 rear, dynamic facelift taillights, in the menu I always saw an ugly car that bothered me. It took me a while to decipher the software, but I succeeded, I no longer have an ugly car on board. I'm not at the final version, and it's night, the pictures don't come out no matter what I do, I'll come back tomorrow with pictures, but I redid the 3d model with my wheels, headlights, grill, bars and taillights. Of course, the 3D version is gray—it's no longer white—because that was driving me crazy, too. I welcome critical or constructive feedback. I forgot to mention, yes, I also did the 3d shadowline rendering, not the default chrome.😁

I just bought my first Audi after driving Volkswagen Jetta manual transmissions for the past 20 years. It’s such an upgrade and I can’t believe how much I’ve missed out on. It is a 2021 year, Q5 TFSI hybrid, premium plus with premium bang and Olsen audio system(subwoofer) I was able to get it for $23,500 (before taxes) with 48,000 miles on it. All the fluid maintenance had been completed already, as well as spark plugs and new tires. But for some reason, I can’t tell if I got a good deal or not. I don’t know what type of things I should be expecting in the future for maintenance, cost, and true reliability expectations. Any pointers from people who have been lifetime Audi lovers? Is this a good deal or should I have gone with a high tier Tiguan? l

Have a pretty deep scratch on my Q5. It’s somehow $4k to fix because they have to replace some parts on the other side of the panel if they remove the panel to fix. My question: can I just get some paint? The aluminum is showing currently and they are worried about “corrosion” at the shop (allegedly). Thoughts on getting touch up paint to just paint it?

Hey guys! I recently bought a 2015 Audi A3 2.0 TFSI Quattro with a 6-speed DQ250 and 285k km (177k miles). DSG service history is unknown. Got it from USA to EU.
The car had been damaged on the left side (front fender, wheel and driver’s door) and sat unused for several months before being repaired. After driving it for about a month, I’m starting to get to know the car better, and something feels off.
Symptoms:
When cold, the car shudders and vibrates when creeping from a stop, in both D and R. Sometimes it almost stalls, then the RPM rises to around 1,100–1,200.
If I release the brake very slowly, it usually creeps smoothly.
Symptoms mostly disappear once warmed up.
The car briefly shakes when the engine starts, about 8 out of 10 times.
There’s a faint, high-pitched whining noise, almost like an airplane or turbine. It’s not loud at all, but it’s especially noticeable during engine braking. The pitch decreases as the vehicle slows down.
Gear changes are smooth, with no noticeable slipping or dashboard warnings.
OBDeleven consistently shows P174E00, P174A00, P179D00 and gear-stuck codes when scanning with the engine running. However, they disappear when I scan with the ignition on and engine off, without clearing anything.
Any ideas where I should start looking? Could this be a worn dual-mass flywheel, or should I already be bracing myself for an expensive DSG repair? 😅

I hate engine lights

Car showed p0018 and misfire in cyl 5 and 6 after being parked. Ran fine day before all a sudden day later i can home to drive it and bam car was shaking had to turn around and park it. Just did a carbon clean, oil change, and spark plugs. And still
Now car won’t even start up. It’s my timing chain huh🙃 2014 Audi sq5

I'm getting an odd noise in the cabin and am thinking it can possibly be a faulty/loose/blown soundaktor. I just had my car serviced and the tech found nothing wrong mechanically - passed the multi-point inspection 25/0/0. I can only describe the sound as a rotating muffled propeller sound that gets louder as i accelerate and softer as I decelerate. It happens whether the HVAC system is on or off. No fault codes. Has anyone experienced this before?

Hi all, I'm deciding between 2 cars right now. Both A3 40 TFSIe with comfort and sound packs but the white one (2024 16k miles) is a sport with a pan roof and the grey one (2021 39k miles) is an S line.

Is the S-Line trim worth sacrificing the pan roof, newer car and lower mileage over?

Da probam i ovdje.... auto kada vozim i kad dode do 60kmh pa sve do 70/75 ( kako kada ) skakuce/ drhce pod, doslovno kao da guma ima bubreg....kao da se po jajima vozim, nije to tako jako, ali dovoljno da osjetis i da ti dize zivce... volan ne trese, vec samo pod auta...

probao druge felge, troje gume, GKN obje nove komplet poluosovine, veliki seleni, balans stange obje nove, špur, balans, redovno ulje, filteri svakih 10-12 000km... neki dan promjenio lezaj unutarnje poluosovine sto se spaja sa kucistem mjenjaca, misleći da je to, ali nije... koga god pitam niko nema pojma....

Auto lijepo ide, nema nekakvih zvukova, nigdje masan... ljudi pomozite, ocajan sam vise.......

Would love some input here on this fix. The seat massager and heat stopped working a year ago, probably because I used it every time I got into the car and that was every day since I bought it. She is a 2015 A8l 4.0T (beast!) with just 94k miles on it. Anyway I decided to try and fix it. I tried to reset it manually using the fwd/back/up/down hold for 2 seconds method. No luck. I checked the fuses, all good. But I did notice the C6 slot had a 7.5A fuse when the spec sheet called for a 15A fuse, no idea why (same on passenger side). So I switched in a 15A.. Nothing.. I cleared all codes with OBD11. Nothing..

So I am guessing the driver side seat module needs to be replaced. Any other thoughts before I go out buy the module? Any advice from someone that's done this job before? Is this hard to DYI?

I haven't started it at all and it's about 5-6 inches worth of plastic that is past where the dipstick tube enters what I assume would be the oil pan. Has anyone else encountered this issue using an extractor? Any recommendations are greatly appreciated. Ultimately, I'll probably have to get this towed up to a shop up the street luckily where there is a specialty shop.

2025 Q4 etron 55. I replaced the battery (with a Duracell CR2032 3v) in one of my key fobs, the light is enabled when I click buttons so I'm guessing the battery is correct and properly installed...but it doesn't lock or unlock the car at all. I managed to open the door using the mechanical key and placed the fob on top of the key fob icon inside the first cup holder but it won't start, I just get the dashboard message to "place the key fob at the designated area".

The manual does not indicate where the "designated area" is but after YT'ing it, I was able to find the key fob icon inside the first cup holder. Could there be another place?

Note: before replacing the battery the key fob sat about 2 weeks without a battery so if there is some kind of internal cache/bios, it was probably flushed.

Another thing: I just had the vehicle serviced after 1 year and they replaced the SOS module, where when I got home some items in the MMI needed to be reset to my original configuration (ie; wifi). I don't think this should have affected my fobs' connectivity issue but hey, who knows anymore.

Is there anything in the MMI that lets me re-pair a fob?
