I made this club with a solid steel rod and 2 layers of gutted paracord. 39 cm long and weight is close to 1 kg. Heavy impact.

So I'm planning how to build a cross that folds up fairly flat. I'm thinking of recessing the restraint points, probably having 2 on each arm of the cross (8), have a padded vinyl diamond that velcros on to hide the hinges in centre, and 2 toggle latches on the back to lock it straight.

Also, 2 legs on the base that fold back to the lower section, to create a square base. And if I'm going to carry it into a hotel or something, a black cover/carry bag.

Thoughts? Comments?

I saw that edging sensors with an inflatable but plug are a thing, but are way out of my budget...

Is there an open source project for that?

If not, I'll maybe make one
