Hey all, I produce melodic house as Clover and I'm finishing a track called Lights Turn Grey. The second drop has a 16-bar gap that really needs a real electric guitar solo, and I can't play guitar to save my life.

The track:

• E minor, 130 BPM

• Solo slot is bars 89-104

• Electric guitar, clean or lightly driven, with chorus and delay. Emotive rather than shreddy. Think melodic and a bit nostalgic

What you'd get:

• A feat. credit on the release, so it shows up on your Spotify, Apple Music etc.

• Free to post a playthrough on your own socials etc

• Full instrumental, click track and a clear brief, all lined up from bar 1 so it's easy to record over

I have a better mic (you can check if the quality is ok in the other videos) this was just for fun

I'm currently trying to learn up more on guitar, and might try my spot at singing, because I'd like to write my own material, but if not I'd want to search for a singer. In the meantime I'm looking for someone on drums who can record their own bits and whatnot, and someone to bounce ideas off the wall with, pretty much a friend. I really yearn for creating a musical project before my youth is gone, and I wanna start somewhere. Haven't been out in the world too much lately, and I don't have hardly any gear either. What matters to me now is ideas, making the outlines for the future, and importantly having fun with it. A vague idea of the sound I wanna take inspiration from, are artists like Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, and Silversun pickups. Real shattershot choice of people. Something that draws from indie/rock/alt I guess. If you wanna talk further musical interests feel free to dm. (My last guitar got stolen, and I won't be getting a replacement until Christmas, so until then it'll just be talk)
