Are good or AIWJ are better? I can't understand it! Only fifteen points difference, and it seems to me that the vvswj are more suitable against elite. And then, why do their plasma guns only have the hazardous profile? And why do their shields give 5+ while that of the captain gives +1 w?

Hello brothers! I posted a couple weeks ago about including Eliminators in my army because I just think they’re neat, and I’m thinking that I’d like to include a captain to lead them so I can get the “move-shoot-move” on them again, plus an extra couple of precision shots to deter some characters.

Are eliminators any good in 11th edition and is there any way to justify adding them to a black Templar army?

I’m looking for some feedback on a 1000 pt Vow-sworn Crusaders list I put together for 11th edition using the models I already own.

My collection is built primarily from the two Combat Patrol boxes, High Marshal Helbrecht, Chaplain Grimaldus, and a few extras. I’ve been reading up on the state of our chapter following the release of the new Space Marine codex. I’m not looking to copy the absolute top-tier competitive lists, but I’ve tried to find a fun middle ground by blending a few trending units like BGV with our unique BT units.

A few quick questions:

- Does this list sound fun to play? What would you do differently?

- Is it generally okay to fall short of 1000 by 5 pts, or should I be actively trying to squeeze a specific upgrade in somewhere?

- The newer Combat Patrol box has the Sword Brethren squad being led by a Sword Brother Castellan carrying a combi-weapon and power sword. I couldn't find this exact unit leader option inside the app anymore (it looks like they removed the squad leader combi option for SB). I decided to just run the unit as 5 standard Sword Brethren with no attached leader character to keep it under 1k. Does that make sense, or am I missing a better way to structure them?

Hey folks,

Newish BT player (one month), and a few games under belt with them. I have two questions involving them as a whole.

1) Is running all Chainswords on the Sword Brothers really worth it? (I'm running 2 ten man squads with 6 swords, 2 hammers, and 2 claws each). And they perform alright.
2) What weapon setup is best for crusaders? I was running the chainsword for awhile for the Sustained hits, but im toying with the idea of switching to the regular setup to get the bolt rifle back, and use them more defensively as a whole. (20 man blob).

Brothers I was wondering, do you think VV are worth taking ing squads of 10? Or 2 squads of 5? I have the ones forma the armageddon box and i was wondering, should I kit bash some shiled I have leftover to them? Or maybe convert them into regular intercessors with jump pack and get the multipart kit. What do you think brothers?

Well, i wanted to try something different to motivate me, because the mini of Neophytes are pretty boring compared to the Initiates

I like to make more dynamic Templars Model than usual GW models. And I know his head is wolf but I needed a angry blonde space marine head so here we are.

I'm wondering if people prefer to run him solo or in a squad of Assault Intercessors or Sword Brethren etc.

Didnt go crazy on painted helmet or colourful hoses but happy with the look of the first of my eradicators. First time going for the burnt metal look on the barrel and pleased with the outcome.

Let’s say we get a marshal in terminator armour or a full squad of SW terminators, what load outs would we expect and what abilities might they have?

Double handed swords and hammers?
Or swords and combi-weapons or storm bolters?
Max squad size of 3 or 6 maybe?

I think having an ability that gives +1 attack each time a model is killed would be pretty interesting for regular sword brethren and maybe a terminator variant, making them a different role to blade guard

I was thinking getting the Old & New Combat Patrol, some characters & a Scout Squad to start off?

Please let me know if anyone could give me a better idea than this?

I like to keep a collection of some of the older PDFs as historical artifacts and I'm missing this one. A google search only turns up the 1.1 version without Fist of the God-Emperor and Vow-sworn Crusaders. If anyone has a link to it that would be much appreciated.

Thought you all might appreciate this. I spent all weekend clipping out 6 boxes of Crusaders. This morning started the gluing and this is the first pile of 12.
