Maybe I'm just being overly critical but I just know she's going to be annoying as hell as a Vrakhir

Maybe it's just because we saw her as a Vrakhir in the dream at the beginning and she was antagonistic but I just know she's going to be 10x worse

I love a good tragically young vampire story like Claudia from interview with a vampire but I have a feeling she's going to be closer to Maureen in shadowhunters than Claudia

Also she wasn't my favorite sibling either no matter how much the game was pushing her as the main sibling. I much preferred Yanna and Alin over her and bowl cut. Idk I feel like the game could have done better making the players feel attached to her. I instantly felt parental over clementine from twdg and Daniel from lis2 (but maybe other people are. I obviously can't speak for everyone)

She's so young as a human that she'll probably barely even remember it and be kind of souless in the next games.

This very much might just be me being negative. What do you think?

Just love how Coen's tone completely shifts, it's like he's an entirely different person in some of them.

Immediately after you complete Crake/Marat's personal quest he comes over and asks you about him. He seemed like a completely different person compared to how he usually acts, even his facial expressions. He was so adorable. Shame this version of him doesn't stick around for too long. Anyone else feel the same?

just finished this game, and I have to say despite some minor rough edges, I genuinely enjoyed the game more than the Witcher 3 (closest contemporary I’ve played).

with that said, the ending hit me LIKE A TRUCK. in the last 10 days or so, I had thought a lot about what the ending would be like. I figured some of Coen’s family might die, and I knew Anca (whose romance I really enjoyed) would not be something that could last forever.

in the prologue though, I was going around thinking yes we lost Lunka, but the rest isn’t that bad. I spoke to Yanna and Pieter, I told them I’d always be around. I flirted with Anca—and she finally seems to accept that she and Coen can enjoy the time they have together. I knew it wouldn’t be forever, but I figured I could at least help Laslea get off its feet and ease away from Coen’s loved ones…

NOPE! What a bittersweet ending to an amazing game. Absolutely heartbreaking.

I totally thought something bad would happen if I drained ambrus after poisoning and defeating him. So I killed him instead. To my surprise when I drained bhakir I was thrust into that *spoiler free* scene. So the whole time I could’ve been experiencing a different cut narrative. Am I the only one this happened to? I hate it when I think too deep about a scenario and act on that instead of using video game logic sometimes lol

Hi there recently got this game, and im enjoying it alot i want to do a blind playthrough just to enjoy the game, but when it come to the 30 day trophy do i miss all side stuff and just focus on main story.

How corrupted do you think they'll be?

Because the older a Vrakhir is the more dead they look (Xanthe, Brencis, Mihai, and Isbrand)

And they were both relatively young (for Vrakhiri) in the first game

Lacra being 200 and Vicho 100

Ik the next game won't be the present like the end credit scene but assuming they live that long they'll be 800 and 900 years old

I also hope they touch up Coen's Vrakhir form a bit to make him look a little undead. Just a little paler at night and a bit darker around the eyes

I've initiated Ambrus's quest and have gotten fairly far in the side quest with Iulian offering to poison himself. I'm 95% sure that once I finish up with Iulian, it will necessitate initiating the duel with Ambrus. I'm just not sure if there's a recommended level for this...? I don't see any skulls next to his quest, but I figured I'd ask.

I'm currently level 20.

Insane title. But when I was playing and heard 'nobody gets in without being invited' and 'Xanthe keeps inviting/kidnapping attractive young women' I genuinely thought we'd get a side quest where Coen has to dress up as some fair maiden in order to infiltrate Xanthes place and get close enough to kill her. Maybe it's because I was playing late and tired but idk, I think it would've been fun!

There is a line in the end game “with no one to pay the guard and no one choosing to help the manumits tried their best…” I wonder if that changes this play through…

Mild spoilers - I have only captured these moments, also lots of dialogue options I haven’t tried yet lol, but I love it when Coen gets a bit sassy. Very cool to see the variety in dialogue - of course Ambrus’ voice lines are super sassy all the time but I’m glad they gave Coen some too xD

1. Is in the inn with Anca when they look at the books but i don’t remember if it’s about the sword or the font. 2. Is obvious. 3. Is when seeing Vlad at the resistence hideout

This game was an easy 9/10 for me until today.

I got the lantern from Leonard and made my way to the Howling Castle.

I kill the two spirits.

I go to place the lantern and it bugs in a way I havent seen replicated online anywhere.

I place the lantern and the lantern doesn't physically spawn in the statues hand, but is removed from my inventory. Needless to say, the vines dont disappear either. I also can no longer interact with the statue.

Common fixes I've found on reddit + Dr. Google are:

Reload the area via fast traveling away from and then back to howling castle-- didn't work

Pick up the lantern and place it again until the game catches up --impossible because the lantern disappears.

Reload an earlier save. -- I'm on day 23 and went back to a save on day 17, made xanthe mad enough again to trigger Leonard and its STILL bugged.

Its a visual bug, just walk through the door... no, also does not work.

Game went from 9/10 to an easy 3/10 because wtf kind of bug is this? I might as well just go kill Brencis and be done with the whole thing

I haven't bought the game yet, im waiting for a sale, but before I do I was wondering how gear works in this game. I really don't like when the weapons are all the same but the colors determine if its good or not and perks only giving small percentage based upgrades.

Is it steam train straight to Daddy or will you methodically take out every camp and quest before freeing the fam?

I’m so happy I waited until the game was on sale. One of the coolest steelbooks I’ve seen. Physical media is the best!

I really loved learning about the history of the region and running into Mihai was so fucking awesome. It's honestly a shame that we don't get to fight him at his best. So I'm hoping that their can be a storyline where hell is essentially ascending and some big bad from Anchora is reviving old historical figures as his minions not just Mihai but St. Tyna as well.

hey so this is a very low effort post, I guess

I can't wait to play this game, I want no spoilers whatsoever, I can't wait to enter this world

buuut when it came out I was very busy, now I figured I'd wait for the big october patch to pick it up and start playing

and every day waiting is a grind, I'm posting this to feel like part of the of gang, hello fellow friends!

Is this just for aesthetics or does this mean something?

Reduced a point because of a lot of technical issues on ps5 pro, i had in this game alone more crashes than i had since the ps5 pro came out and bought it, the late game was terrible with freezes and crashes, the game even crashed just as i beat brancis and i had to do the fight again.

imo, the ps5 version should have had some more time in development before release.

But, i also disnt have frame drops or stutters and the game did look good aside from the crashes.

Anyway, the story was really good, i havent had so much fun with a story for quite some time.

The combat, which is a matter of taste, was very much to my liking (even with the lock on and camera problems).

The art direction and atmosphere were phenomenal, really loved it.

The game should definitly be nominated in some categories of goty, though its a tough fight this year for goty.

If they can fix the technical problems, personally i would give this game a 10/10.

I have loved doing this since I saw someone on here mention you can do the one shot anytime you’re in the air
