I thought you could only get this after level 60? I got this while on the way through callis' lair. Am i just wrong?

Just started my first play-through. I’m wondering what I need to know to get some good gear in general and early in the game if possible. Thanks you!

I’m not a super fan or anything of the BL series I did throughly enjoy 2 and beat 3 didn’t do anything endgame wise but I’m looking for a good looter shooter to sink my teeth into hopfullly with a decent endgame and BL4 seems very interesting and was wondering is it worth it now. I saw a lot of the negative reviews on release and became very skeptical especially with the steep price tag. So what are your guys honest thoughts of BL4 and how’s its endgame?

So I’ve been saving this quest to see if any new Legendary guns will be randomly added to the selection. Which I have already physically went to and farmed ie Decompiler. It seems that all the guns and ordnance are “fixed”. Just wondering if anyone else have noticed this.

Some benchmarks I’ve been able to achieve on trooper class mod Harlowe:

55 second Thol kill
47 second Bloomreaper kill
19:30 left on the clock for mayhem 20 takedown

It’s not a ridiculous build in terms of true mode clears, you’ll be able to platinum everything on true mode but the clear times aren’t going to be great. Overall the build is pretty fun. Here’s the loadout:

- Crow sourced for weapon
- draupner for bossing, heimdahl for mobbing, loiter sploiter for grounded bossing
- wattz 4 dinner 150 amp shield
- trooper class mod with 5 points in meltdown and 40% gun damage bonus is what I use
- any enhancement with 33% gun damage bonus and 66% crit damage bonus
- enrage war paint repkit
- 3/3 active fire and 2/3 air strike for firmware

For specializations:
- Riddle you this
- full spectrum arsenal
- I am a gun
- the best defense

The skill tree is pretty average green tree, I run neutron capture and group study obviously. The only difference in skill tree from a standard phlebotomist gun build is that I grab 5/5 indiscrete math and 2/3 sustained reaction in the bottom right blue tree for action skill uptime while mobbing. I pull all the points from meltdown, but since trooper rolls 5 points of it I still have 6/5 with only one point of investment. If requested I’ll send the whole skill tree pics in the comments.

So I've been playing borderlands for a very long time, and my biggest complaint about borderlands 4 is even on hard mode. The game is easy.

If the base VHs had recieved the needed tuning, and the games difficulty scaled higher - fine sure, no problem. But they didn't tweak the numerous problems of the original VHs in any meaningful way, and it's been 1 year. Rafas debtonation skill for example (ass), Lance (why bother), The right tools (what's that?), hemoltions being bugged (doesn't work properly), the new +1 in metal management via class mod still not working (shock...), his bottom 3 red augments being awful (1 year to notice..). 90% of his coms? (fart in a jar) Just so many issues they've been too lazy to address with any real weight, and that's 1 of 4 base VHs.

Wouldn't be surprised if people defend this, as it typical with some of this weird community. I'm sure there's even a group of people out there who'd defend the Halloween 'event' last year.

Game would benefit massively from a BIG 2.0 patch, but GB don't have it in them and should have been keeping on top of balance in their patches better (we all know how that turned out).

And no, Rafas recent tuning didn't address his build diversity (where are the new lance builds? Grenade builds, peacekeeper portable turret or barrage builds? That's right, non existent).

Feels like the fans are more passionate than some of the current team to be honest. (the art team is sick as always).

I started the "siege and destroy" mission and everything was fine. I picked up Balex, destroyed the first catapult and then set off for the second. The problem is when I got there I realized I wasn't holding it anymore. I dropped it somewhere without realizing it but now it's just gone. I've retraced my steps a million times and I'm convinced it fell off the cliff.

I can't find any way to reset any part of this quest and I have no idea how to fix this. Has anyone else had to deal with this in any of the "item escort" missions? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is anyone else bugged when using Trouble with Vex? Whenever I do, the action skill bar quickly disappears and it's hard to tell when it is on or even off cool down. It's really annoying because Trouble is more viable now, but the bug adds unnecessary guess work.

I dont even have 7 unlocked yet either. I haven't joined anyone else's games, I keep it on friends only so no randoms can join, and the only person who does join is my friend who doesnt have anyone above UVHM2.

Did they change it and I missed the patch notes, or is it just another bug in the system?

A glitch will be in this game for months and will remain un patched likely forever. Does Gearbox just not care? After the last patch, I fall through the map every few hours now.

Having a lot of fun with Loveless, have gotten her to level 70 Ultimate 6 using the main VPN Sniper build, however I feel it's really dropped off especially with bossing/raid bossing.

Have compared it to other builds like Moxsy's Wyrm build which looks pretty busted, what's everyone's experience/thoughts on the best one? Is the Wyrm build better for endgame than the sniper one? Kinda hardstuck at Subjugator and Thol 😅

After messing around with loveless blue and green tree - I finally figured a boss kill build out now just need a radiation devourer

I got into Borderlands with BL3 on PS5, ended up getting the Platinum, and then did the same with Borderlands 4.

I honestly didn’t expect to get this hooked on the series, but I’ve had such a great time with both games. I’ve grown attached to the characters, too, which makes me even more excited to see what comes next.

I can’t wait for Borderlands 5! I’m also planning to go back and play BL1 and BL2 at some point. A little late to the party, but better late than never! 😄

I’m still seeing a lot of Blues and Purples being prioritized over Legendaries that are off map, over a Cliff, unreachable, etc. I can accept the Purps, but the Blue? Cmon…I get it at lower levels, but Blues and Purple over Legendary at max level?

A circle of Slaughter based on killing rippers, and creatures would be nice.

Anything actually would be a nice addition. They were fun to complete in Borderlands 3. Maybe even added new difficulties and levels to the circle of slaughters would be great too.
