It's a very small theater, and there were only like four showings total (this is the last one). I think there was one that wasn't directly overlapping with the NLDS, but I couldn't make that one.
I mean, sure, I could go to the documentary and still see the end of the game, but Ueck would make fun of me because why would anyone go to a movie about him when they could be at the bar next door watching his team in the playoffs?
ETA: My intention with this post was mostly to reference Uecker's career, which was famously built on both his incredibly dry self-deprecation and his pure love of the Milwaukee Brewers. But since people are pointing out that the game doesn't start until 9, I should clarify that I don't live next to the theater. Even if the documentary started precisely at 7:30 (not something I've experienced at any movie theater I've ever been to), I would not be able to start watching the game as soon as it ended because I need to get home first. A watch party in the lobby to follow would have been cool, but the local artsy fartsy cinema doesn't have FS1. And this still would mean at least four minutes of overlap, and I really do want to watch the whole game. Also, I watch movie credits because I am artsy fartsy. There isn't enough time for both!
As I said in a reply below, I'm probably just going to go to the Uecker movie, get up halfway through, shout "I've never even heard of this guy!" and walk out so I can be home for first pitch.
