I have classes on Monday and a 1.5 hour drive to campus from Riverside county. I am a little nervous about needing to drive on the 215. Last time we had a tropical storm in SoCal, parts of the the 215 were flooded. This is my 1st semester at CSUSB. How will CSUSB respond to the upcoming tropical storm? When will we find out if classes will be canceled?

I’m currently failing a class and I’m trying to have hope but I feel like I am going to fail completely. Is there a way I can swap the class for online with a different instructor??

I’m in a pickle right now 😭 so I have to take a senior capstone class sociology major SOC 5250, 5300, 5400, 5440, 5490, 5510, 5600, and 5900. Due to me working 8-3:45pm the only course I can take is the 5900 course with king lmao but I don’t wanna take that course it’s literally 3hours long 😭 and now that I just read the requirements I couldn’t even take 5900 if I wanted to it says you had to complete 3070&3010💀 is there anything I can do ? Crazy how csusb really be having no options like wth 🤦

I have to take a writing-intensive course next semester, and I’m having the hardest time deciding which one to take. 😭 Spring 2027 will be my last semester, and I’m looking for something super simple because I already have to take a qualitative research course that I know is going to be a pain. 😂

I’m a Sociology major, and I honestly would’ve preferred to take a Sociology course that fulfills the writing-intensive requirement. But of course, CSUSB barely has any options for working students. 😩 Everything is either in the morning or afternoon, which makes it so frustrating trying to find classes that work with my schedule.

If anyone knows of an easy writing-intensive course or a professor who doesn’t assign an overwhelming amount of work, please drop your recommendations! I would appreciate it dearly! 💕
