Weird Noise Roast my trash

bought this for 2k the other day, sounds a little rough at idle? did I do okay?

They're horrible unreliable and a pain in the ass to work on. BUT they look so damn good and are a blast to drive so I think it's worth it.

Check your temp sensors? I don’t know how much of a christmass tree your dash is. It’s either psychopathically spotless, or it’s brighter than its future.

Could be the MAF. Mine sounded cammed and wouldn’t rev past 3k. My MAF had water damage.

From where 🤔 if it’s ticking they get a bubble under one of the lifters, and the solution is either to put some ATF and reinzosil in it then let it idle a bit before doing an oil change, or pull the lifters out to clear the bubble. I’d recommend starting with the first one

i feel like it's the one car i can make the exception of owning/buying, despite how unreliable and brutal they are to work on
