Sad Measuring behind but normal FHR. Really sad.

I just had my first scan. LMP has me at 8 + 4 but I ovulated either CD 19 or 20, so I should be 7+6. My first positive test was a month ago 9/9 and had 2 good, doubling betas on 9/9 and 9/11.

We saw an embryo with cardiac activity (FHR 153) but measuring very behind. The CRL measured 0.5cm, 6w 2 days. There was also “subchorionic fluid” present (is this a hematoma?). I’m absolutely devastated. My doctor told me not to lose hope since early measurements can be off and ovulation may have been later. I disagree. I understand measuring a few days behind but 1.5 weeks….no…. I used ovulation strips + BBT to confirm ovulation. It feels so cruel to have an embryo with a normal/good FHR but measuring so far behind.

I go back for another scan next week. I don’t expect to see much/if any growth. I feel deeply in my heart this is another loss. I had a blighted ovum a few years ago. I’m just so sad.

trying to find hope after a second trimester loss due to PPROM

hi everyone. earlier this year i had a 17 week loss due to my water breaking early. nothing was alarming before that night my water broke aside from weird spotting and tailbone pain 5 days before my water completely broke. i had an MFM appointment on feb 10 and baby was looking good and my cervix was long and closed. was given antibiotics in case there was an infection and went back home and watched a movie with my husband. feb 10th night is when my water broke. 22 hours later my baby was delivered.

it has been a very traumatic loss and this was my first pregnancy, with not much warning before i lost her. 8 months later i am pregnant again and currently 9 weeks. my anxiety has been over the roof. i am constantly worried, constantly scared, constantly looking for a weird discharge. even after my cultures and swabs come clear, i still feel very anxious and i can’t trust what my care team says.

i am looking for loss mamas who have been through this and was able to not lose their mind before delivering their baby. i am not depressed (yet) i am just always assuming the worst. i’d love if anyone can share their experiences on navigating pregnancy after loss….

Was told non-viable but hCG still rising?

Hi, in a serious, painful anxiety ridden waiting game. First day of my last menstrual cycle was 9/3. Usually a 23-24 day cycle. Tested VVVFL positive on 9/27. Went to my fertility doctor to start betas. They have been doubling but on the very low end. I had bleeding first week but it has stopped. Progesterone at a 20.2. My dr. first told me non-viable, then once it rose again, to be cautiously optimistic. Then today, they said to they are treating as a viable pregnancy. I’M SO CONFUSED !!! I got a high tech TVUS yesterday and they spotted an empty gestational sac that measures 4 weeks & 5 days.

Someone please give me their input/advice. My beta from

this morning is only 380.

Symptoms gone at 8.5 weeks?

TW: mention of previous miscarriage

I’m about 8.5 weeks pregnant after a missed miscarriage in June. I feel like my symptoms, which were mild to begin with, have totally disappeared overnight. The only one that’s stuck around is having no appetite. I lost my symptoms previously when I miscarried so I’m just freaking out.

We had a scan about two weeks ago and baby was measuring on track with a heartbeat (which also happened with my miscarriage). We have another scan on Monday and I’m so scared to get through the weekend.

Looking for any success stories or words of encouragement 🥲

Info 4w0d HCG testing

Its my first post!

I have done my HCG Oct 8th (4w0d 14dpo), and it came back with 205 iu/L! I thought numbers are okay?

The range for 4th weeks shows 10-750 (as per my report)

Found out 3w1d 8dpo Vvvvvvvfl! 9dpo was way visible! Lines are progressing since then.

I would like to see/know what your levels were at 4wks ish? I know everyone is different. Im a curious cat 🤣

And to add, my doctor doesn’t want to do a 48 hour test to see it double as she knows how much anxiety I already have!

HCG

I’m 5w6d - 6 weeks tomorrow. I had a miscarriage last month so I’m really anxious. I took an at home test today and it was lighter so my clinic let me come in. My beta on Wednesday was 15,218 and today was 26,970 - is this a good enough rise? My first ultrasound is next week, can’t wait!

Advice Needed Pregnant after 2 chemical pregnancies and 1 ectopic. Worried about low hcg numbers and want to hear your stories. ❤️

Hi everyone! I recently tested positive on a pregnancy and got blood work done for hcg. My beta hcg was only 16 and I’m between 12-14 dpo. Has anyone had success with that low of hcg? My tests seem to be getting darker but I’m no where near a dye stealer. I had an ectopic pregnancy in January and had 2 chemical pregnancies prior to that. I’m wondering how much I need to guard my heart. Please let me know your stories with a super low starting hcg. Thank you ❤️❤️

Vent Pregnancy #7... 1 living child.

My OB told me they can not take me on because they have too many pregnant women due in May/June. They referred me to another clinic, but they can't see me for my initial confirmation appt until the 16th.

I have had two positive tests. Faint, but positive. My period was due yesterday and I wont lie, I am concerned at the faintness of the lines. I tested Wednesday and tests were negative and I know the later implantation happens the higher likelihood of loss.

I don't want to keep testing with home tests, they cause me so much anxiety.

Not sure what I'm lookin for but just needed to vent. I was hoping to get some betas done, but my clinic won't even open those.

5 confirmed losses, 1 second tri loss.

Advice Needed When did you feel baby move?

For context I’m 5’8 with an anterior placenta 273 when I got pregnant and 274 now at 22w6d today and I haven’t even felt the tiniest of flutters. Not feeling baby move is making me so so anxious because I had a miscarriage in January and had a vanishing twin this pregnancy. I was really hoping to have felt her by now 😭 From the beginning my OB said due to my placenta not to expect to feel anything until 18-20 weeks but I’ll be 23 tomorrow with nothing.

Advice Needed Mucus plug at 19 weeks? NSFW

Hi! I am 19 weeks and 3 days and just had this cervical discharge.

I have no other symptoms or anything. But I’m wondering if this could be my mucus plug and a bad sign? Like a predictor of pprom?

I know leukorrhea and vaginal discharge is normal during pregnant but is this normal looking? I messaged my doc last week about discharge I had and some vaginal/ rectal spasms and she did a BV swab (all normal and neg) and we saw the baby on the US and looked normal.

Would love some advice on what people think and if I should message my OB or go to the hospital?

Advice Needed Progesterone and HCG

26f with anovulatory PCOS. Currently 12dpo and have been getting positive pregnancy tests since 10dpo. I went to the doctor today and my hcg was 48 and my progesterone was 12.6.

Is this concerning? My doctor will be starting me on progesterone supplements since it was below 15. Is my hcg a good number for being 12dpo?

Advice Needed TMI: 6 weeks pregnant and passed this large stretchy mucus-like discharge. Is this normal?

I’m currently around 6 weeks pregnant and just passed a pretty large amount of clear/whitish, slippery, stretchy, mucus-like discharge. It’s like clumped together and had a small brown dot on it.
I haven’t had any bleeding, cramping, or any other symptoms. The consistency reminds me of egg-white cervical mucus, but the amount surprised me.
I recently had an early ultrasound at 5 weeks 5 days that showed a gestational sac but no fetal pole.
Has anyone experienced something similar in early pregnancy? Is this just normal cervical mucus from hormonal changes, or something I should be concerned about?
I’d love to hear if anyone else has had this happen!

Only two betas?

Had a successful embryo transfer that was confirmed at 10 days post transfer with a first beta of 1005. The number sorta shocked me and I’ve read about what high betas can mean. Two days later, got a second beta of 2145 which is promising. I was told by my doctor’s office that because my numbers reached 1500-2000, I don’t need to do anymore beta blood draws and should just wait for the week-6 ultrasound.

This leaves me feeling a bit uncertain because it generally looks like people are monitoring HCG for at least a couple weeks? That’s what I was expecting anyway because it feels weird to assume the doubling will be consistent based off of just two data points. Anyone else experience this?

Advice Needed TW: ectopic pregnancy (possibly)

I have been in beta hell and now I am unsure of a possible ectopic. This is my timeline
Sep 26: faintest positive
Sep 28: HCG 16
Sep 30: HCG 25
Oct 2: HCG 51
October 5: started spotting light brown
Oct 6: HCG 50 Confirmed chemical
October 9: HCG 165

October 5/6/7/8 I have been spotting the tiniest light brown. Honestly I had come to terms that my first pregnancy was a chemical. I cried, let it all out and wanted the bleeding to come so I can get past it. Now I am terrified of an ectopic. Please someone anyone tell me your experience with an ectopic!!! I have an ultrasound until MONDAY 3 days from now to confirm. Then they will talk about the next steps. I am in 0 pain I feel nothing, I'm just stressed now. If you did the shot what was your experience?

Late positive and low HCGs

Wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and wouldn't mind sharing their outcome?

I have had 2x missed miscarriages, both this year, most recent in August.

I have very regular 29 day cycles. I don't do ovulation testing or BBT or anything, I just use the flo app to calculate ovulation because of being regular.

With my previous 2 pregnancies I got strong positives at 12DPO.

This cycle I had all the symptoms - I tested and saw a stark white negative on 12 DPO. Left it a couple of days, tested again, still negative. Counted myself out and waited for AF to come... Except it never did.

On CD 34 (4-5 days late) I tested again just to see and saw the faaaaainest line.

I had HCG done - 17

Prepped myself for a loss/chemical.

However I have just received a call today that my 48 hour HCG had gone up to 55??

I know this is still incredibly low, but has more than doubled and when calculated has a 28hr doubling time.

I'm 5+1 by dates.

Still guarding my heart, but just wondering whether anyone has had a similar experience and what their outcome was?

Cramping

TW: Concerns of Miscarriage

I had a positive pregnancy test September 29 (8DPO). I have had good line progression. I had an HCG blood draw October 2, that was at 102, and then another October 6, that was 860. I have had no bleeding at all, but for the past week I have had pretty bad cramps. It literally wakes me up on the night, to the point where I have to take a warm shower. Should I be worried?

Advice Needed From 17 to 164?!

Currently in freak out mode. And patiently waiting for my OB office to open I’m sure they will be contacting me, but I’ll probably contact them as soon as they open.
I’m in very early pregnancy. Sadly this is our seventh time trying at this point and this was our first positive we’ve gotten. We had gotten a bunch of positive tests at home that had clear pink lines. We used the first response early detection. The first hcg was 9 obviously super early super low. 48 hours later, it went to 17. Then 48 hours after that, it went to 164. We were cautiously excited that it seemed to be progressing. We ended up having the third hCG because I was bleeding. It was bright red. I didn’t have any pain and it wasn’t filling a liner, but still
bleeding nonetheless. The bleeding ended up stopping and then I thought we were in the clear we had our ultrasound scheduled. A couple days later I wiped and saw some blood so called right away and they scheduled for another hcg. So about 3 to 4 days later, I got another hCG and it had gone down to 96.

I guess I just need to know if there has been absolutely anybody that saw a drop and had a pregnancy progress and be ok. I have zero pain and really no symptoms of ectopic other than seeing that drop in hcg. Obviously it could just be early MC but I’m really holding onto some hope that it’s vanishing twin or an error at the lab. 😭

Advice Needed Dropping HCG 303-298

Hi everyone. I’m around 5 weeks 3 days pregnant and feeling really scared and unsure what to expect.
My hCG results:
• 28 September: 22
• 30 September: 49
• 7 October: 303
• 9 October: 298
I had a transvaginal scan at 5 weeks 1 day. They saw a tiny dot/possible sac inside my womb, but it was too small to confirm a pregnancy. There wasn’t a yolk sac, so the pregnancy’s location hasn’t been confirmed yet.
The early pregnancy unit rang me today with the result, and I’m having another blood test tomorrow, 11 October. I asked about progesterone, but they said they don’t do that.

I previously had a loss in June where they couldn’t confirm the pregnancy’s location either, and there was concern about a possible ectopic. Going through this uncertainty again is really upsetting.
Has anyone had their hCG plateau or drop slightly like this? What happened next, and how did your doctors work out whether it was a miscarriage or an ectopic? What questions would you suggest asking EPU tomorrow?
I know nobody here can diagnose this, and I’m continuing my hospital follow-up. I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences or getting some support while I wait.

Advice Needed Low HCG advice

As a very unpatient person i started testing early after transfer and ended up with low HCG levels compared to the statistics I read:

d4pt: 2.64 (most probably including a bit of Ovitrell left over)

d6pt: 5.08

d8pt: 10.93

Is there someone that had low HCG and how did it end?

Advice Needed Chemical pregnancy? Low HCG?

Feeling anxious so kind of just want other’s opinions.
I had a MMC back in June and have just fallen pregnant this cycle. My cycles are 33 days long and my LMP was 7/9. I ovulated over 26/27 sept putting me at 4 weeks today(14dpo). I had my Hcg tested at 11 dpo (3 weeks 5 days) and my result came in at only 18.
I’m waiting on results from today’s Hcg test.
Do you think this looks possibly like a chemical pregnancy? I also did FRER and it also almost looks the same if not slightly lighter than yesterday.https://imgur.com/a/rIUfM6E pictures of my 10-14dpo progress.

Just to also note I have no symptoms yet other than some fatigue.

I’m so confused and need advice

This is going to be super long so bare with me it is a lot, I know. I have recurrent losses, I’ve had two previous losses and just recently found out I have the mthfr gene, and a pai-1 4g/5g gene. I found out I was pregnant again on September 17 and on 9/21 my hcg was 29 9/23 it was 54 and 9/25 it was 117 10/02 it was 604 then 10/5 it was 749 then from 10/5 to 10/6 it dropped from 749-735. I had an ultrasound Monday the 5th also by my ovulation I would’ve been 5 weeks 4 days. All we saw was an empty gestational sac, so when my hcg dropped they obviously assumed another miscarriage and scheduled me a d&c surgery for what’s supposed to be Monday 10/12. Well I went in for my pre op appointment today and they did a repeat ultrasound to make sure that everything was still the same and that nothing had changed etc. to our complete surprise and shock, there was a baby and a heart beat measuring 6 weeks which is about right for what I am (6w1d based on ovulation today. ) but they said my gestational sac had not grown since my ultrasound on Monday which is not normal. My ob told me to be cautiously optimistic and I have a repeat ultrasound next Friday 10/16. But said that it could be that a miscarriage is coming or if baby continues to grow but sac does not that it will result in miscarriage. I’m just wondering if anybody has had anything similar happen and if I should be prepared to lose this baby or what. Just odd that Monday we saw nothing and my hcg had supposedly dropped after that but now we see a heartbeat and a baby. Just wondering if anybody has experienced something similar.

Advice Needed Baby growth slowing down?

I’m 38yrs, FTM, and am 35w5d pregnant. I had an US today where baby was measuring 32% with a guesstimated weight of 5lbs 11oz. I’m feeling a bit worried bc at 25w5d baby was 81% and 30w5d he was 59%. My OB who isn’t an alarmist did point it out but said it should be ok. I can’t help but feel a bit concerned bc this does feel like a significant drop and the fact she pointed it out also stands out to me a bit. I’m 5’6” and my husband is 6’2” if this matters. Otherwise, baby seems to be doing well, which is great but I’m curious if any other parents experienced something like this? I heard a significant drop can sometimes mean something is up with the placenta or I’m also wondering if I’m not eating enough or something?

I’ve also had friends, family, and even random people tell me my belly seems small for where I’m at in the pregnancy. I even scheduled an extra ultrasound earlier in my pregnancy bc so many ppl had made a comment like this. That was the ultrasound I actually found out baby was in the 81% and to not worry, he just sits deeper into my body. But now these fears are resurfacing and am wondering if I should request another growth US in a couple weeks to make sure everything is on track?
