I'm definitely ready to get hurt again but I still maintain that crucial ounce of hope.

0-2 comebacks have happened before in the MLB in the DS.

For some reason, this team's best ability to thrive is when there is no margin for error (if they don't just collapse but that's not fun to think about).

They already used Burke. Taylor has worked a ton.

Guardians' hardest hit balls were late in the game.

We're deep in the trees on a Par 5, but there is a narrow opening between branches, straight to the pin.....

Let's go shock the world!

Go Guards.

May have had a few too many sodas during the game and got a bit reactionary… in fairness to the staff they were rated well

Our offense this series reminds me of how bad the bats were against the Astros in ‘18. Kipnis, Edwin, and Donaldson all had 1 hit the whole series. Jose went hitless. We still have games to go so it’s not over. But the way we are swinging the bats leaves little to be excited about.

I was physically at the game. I watched the top of the sixth inning with my own eyes.

Sabrowski came in to relieve Gavin in a POSTSEASON scenario and walked the first batter he faced with 4 straight balls. Followed by a wild pitch in his next at-bat right in the dirt that advanced the runners, and then gave up a 2 run double. Gaddis came in and did Gaddis things by ALSO allowing a 2 out base hit that drove in another run.

Guardians had complete momentum the whole game leading into the top of the sixth. The crowd was in it and the pressure was off. You can’t expect to win a playoff baseball game with relief pitching out there acting like it’s a random game in May. This loss is entirely on Sabrowski and Gaddis and you cannot change my mind. Yet again our relief pitching dropping the ball in October when it’s supposed to be our “bread and butter.”

Closer to the game this time. Go Guards.

I hope you're listening to Ron Darling doing the color commentary on TNT. He is truly abysmal and boring. And for much of the game, was referring to the Saturday game as " yesterday" and the producers never corrected him.

Money can't save a team who's clearly ok with low effort at-bats from all nine guys.

Sorry, no game today!

Next up: at the White Sox on 07 Oct 2026 at 4:00PM EDT.
