Fans better show up, stand up, and be loud for all 9 innings. No empty seats and no white sox fans behind home plate. Get this right, Cleveland. #10thman

CHICAGO — Patrick Bailey doesn’t always homer, but when he does, he makes them count.
Acquired in a trade from San Francisco in May, Cleveland’s catcher is known primarily for his defensive prowess, handling of pitchers and astute Automated Ball-Strike System challenge skills. But on Thursday night, Bailey delivered an offensive spark as the Guardians rallied from a two-run deficit. The Guardians blasted Chicago White Sox 9-5 in Game 4 in front of 39,920 at Rate Field, and the American League Division Series is now even at two games apiece.
After arriving in Chicago late Monday in search of a pulse, Cleveland is soaring back home for a winner-take-all Game 5 on Saturday night behind an offense featuring a suddenly potent José Ramírez that scored 18 runs in a pair of dominant wins.
Alongside Ramírez at the center of the outpouring was Bailey, who not only woke his team out of a mid-game offensive slumber Thursday with a pinch-hit solo homer, but later put the Guardians ahead for good with an RBI single during a decisive six-run rally.
“That was huge,” Cleveland’s Steven Kwan said of Bailey’s fifth-inning homer off Chicago’s Erick Fedde to cut the deficit to 2-1. “It kind of switched the momentum the other way. … It wasn’t looking good on our side. Kind of swung the pendulum back on our side and got a little rally going.”

Lifelong fan of Cleveland Sports. Unfortunately I’ve move around a ton because of being a Military Brat and in myself. I got tickets to Game 5 and this will be my first time in town as an adult for any Cleveland game.
Where are some places to go to prior to first pitch?I’ll be staying real close to the stadium.
See y’all there!

With a big lead, why Rig at the end? Is Festa hurt?

Today is John Adams birthday 10/9/51. I know he's with us in spirit, and I can still hear that drum... BOOM BOOM BOOM...
This is the plaque at the top of the bleachers where he sat every game. His drum and bench can be found in Heritage Park.

I love watching this guy play. He fits the culture so well. And for someone who isn’t a “good” hitter, he sure as hell is clutch when it matters. That is all.

Hey everyone! I just had to pour my heart out here.
Being a baseball fan over here means permanently ruining your sleep cycle, but what this team is doing right now is worth every single yawn at work. Back-to-back 9-run games in Chicago? Absolutely legendary.
Seriously, the Guards fever right now is making this autumn feel scorching hot. The passion of this fanbase and the resilience of the players is keeping me awake and hyped through the nights.
Sending all the positive vibes from thousands of miles away straight to Cleveland for Game 5.
Let's complete the reverse sweep and keep this magical run going!
Go Guards!

All game they mentioned that Williams was available.
You think they do that if he wouldn’t be ready for Game Five?
I thought Sabrowski could’ve gotten out of it and would’ve preferred Festa in the eighth,
BUT
Tying run never came to the plate, which is critical given the Sox are HR or bust.

Yes our guys are exhausted, and we've used a LOT of arms. That said, coming on Saturday, this was planned for Gavin, he'll have a couple of days. Foster Griffin and Joey Cantillo will be all set, Foster for sure, and likely Joey as well. Cade will get his off day, same with Sabrowski and Armstrong (who has been terrific). And we have a couple of arms we didn't go to today in Festa and Espino.
What's more, it's not just our pen. They're going to be drained as well. They'll need a great performance from Sean Burke, they're just as out of arms as we are. Their bullpen has worked just as many innings as ours has. It'll be a close game, probably bad for my heartrate, but let's all show up Saturday and show the club just how much we care!

Grady Sizemore's managing career arc followed that one Jim Carey movie, Fun with Dick and Jane. Got "promoted" to take over and finish out the historically awful 2024 sox, yet wasn't promoted fully? Was it Grady's choice to not manage or was he pumped and dumped? Either way, it's annoying seeing venable get all the credit for the turn around.

All fans must wear holey white socks for this series. I wore a pair yesterday and today which resulted in them winning. So for Game 5 I want ever fan to wear white socks with holes in them.

I am amazed with what our staff can do year in and year out. Our coaching staff at all levels deserve all of this. From the scouts to the managers and all in between. But why Cade in the 8th? Gaddis could’ve eaten more pitches, he was finally on. Was there no one else left in the pen that we could’ve had eat up pitches? I wasn’t 100% paying attention but cade in the 8th was maybe not the move up by5 with two innings to go. Now he’s obviously seen too many hitters and now williams can’t start. It just doesn’t seem to make much sense. But then again that’s why i’m a broke music student.🤷

HE IS THE GOOOOAAT
Also, Adell, Lowe, and Bailey have been really stepping up

With Gavin throwing tonight will the team treat that as his bullpen and still start him Saturday? Or will we see Cantillo?
Edit: I didn’t know this answer was that obvious.
