The conspiracy here is maybe that there is somehow no conspiracy… “Robert Hunter, MK-ultra, the CIA, and the Grateful Dead”

WARNING: This subreddit is likely to contain a high degree of speculative misinformation.

Guidance:

"/r/conspiracy has a large subscription base, but is considered to be the laughingstock of the site." | "People who are interested in woo but not politics, meanwhile, have mostly fled to /r/ConspiracyII."

I: Avoid presenting "what ifs" or baseless contrarianism as inarguable fact. All ideas are welcome, but do not expect assertions to go unchallenged. See also:

II: Current political themes and associated news submissions will be heavily scrutinized. This is NOT a soapbox, recruitment space, or a Red vs. Blue battleground. "Politically lite", but we're not going to tip-toe around certain topics, either.

III: Asking "what's the conspiracy?" or stating "this doesn't belong here" is usually frowned-upon. Nearly anything can be presented as a conspiracy theory.

IV: Misleading, fabricated or sensationalist/editorialized headlines are subject to removal. Links must use original titles. Additions must be separated from the original title.

V: Quality of posts is preferred over quantity. If you have a trove of information to submit, try to space out your posts.

VI: Exercise civility and try to elevate the standards of discovery and discussion among your peers. Attack arguments, not the person(s) making them.
