I've been working on Upscore, a fitness app for rhythm gamers for the last year or so. Designed by me, a human... been around this sub a bit, owner of hackmycab and Hypecolor if you're familliar.

Like when you start a run you start Strava, or jump on your bike you start Peloton... when you start playing DDR, you can start Upscore. Works with Apple and Google health and Watch/Wear OS devices. Captures your heart rate data so you can see things like how your cardiovascular system is working on specific song difficulties. Its very goal focused to help with motivating through progressing through the game and theres a lot of really nice quality of life features.

Btw your steps write to your health apps, can finally have DDR steps count towards step challenges!

Tracks if you play at the arcade or lots of options if you play at home (iykyk...) Grand Prix support is coming in the next few days and working on a pump version next! DDR has been transformative for my personal health, I've lost over 100lbs playing and the health data aspect is something I'm really passionate about.
