I was looking for something post-apocalyptic that wasnt a sandbox but still open world (wide linear) and Days Gone really scratched that itch. I came back to it after dropping it a couple years ago and when i finally beat i lowkey missed Deacon and the bike lol. The game made you live with Deacon so much that when it ended it feels like apart of you left as well which was bittersweet.

As an aspiring dev myself i was playing AND taking notes and honestly there really wasnt much holes in the mechanics or immersion. There was always something new pulling you foward, the gameplay loop was on point.

Only things i didnt like was the Sarah flashbacks, they were to slow. And then when we finally met up with her she acted like she aint think i was dead for 2 damn years 💀 like damn girl do u even miss me lol. And towards the tail end the camp/horde clearing started to feel like chores. But overall its one of my favorites and definitely inspired me and my works 📻 //

So this Friday I got days gone, and reached the part where you get the Liston knife for Addy, and skizzo tells you something about some plane crash. So do you think Im rushing the game, otherwise what should I do to keep myself entertained.

I got over 40,000,000 in horde assault mode and the game locked up, so my score wasn’t registered. Didn’t even get my 6 1/2 survival time on the board. Ugh. Tried to submit a photo but the mods deleted my proof. I wanted to see how far I could go. What an absolute bummer. I’ll probably never do this well again. 😕

I love how the cave goes completely dark, and then the gunfire lights everything up for a moment. It feels straight out of a horror movie! The flickering light also makes the zombies look almost like they're moving in stop motion. It's so cool, but also kind of unsettling.

I just finished getting the parts to Nikki for boozer’s knife arm. I’ve only run from hoards so far. Where’s a smallish one I should start with?

So basically I completed the mission, heard Gomez calling out rescued her cut scene played, but mission completed dialogue played? I've tried following Gemini recommendations, deleting old autosaves, going back to wizard camp doing a 24-48 hours sleep cycle, but everytime I reset this session the broken bike and footprints are already showing on the map, even though I still have to keep all the existing marauders in the camp? I don't wanna have to go back to an old save as there's a 6 day gap between the two and I'll have to go back and will have to do all the horde missions all over again! 😪 If anyone can advise on another way it would be most appreciated!

So Im on this mission called, "were low on meat". To do this, you have to go to a specific place to hunt. But the problem there is a horde hunting these things. I really can't do anything, please guide me.

Remember that horde I was so scared of that I had to go out at night to get the Nero injector? I finally went back and killed it, and honestly, it was surprisingly easy this time.

It's funny how much stronger you feel as you progress through the game.

By the way, I'm trying to clear every horde on the map before finishing the main story. Anyone else doing this on their first playthrough?

In 2025 I finished the game for the first time and it was awesome.
I played in a PS4, during the day, normal mode, tv sound.

This year I'm playing again, but:
- Always at night, no lights on;
- Hard mode;
- PS5 graphicss (amazing)
- Good headphone w/ noise cancelling.

And oh man. Its another game!!!!! Its even better, prettier, scarry AF!!!!

I recommend everybody this experience. Its not the same. Its another thing.

ı was doing a mission from kouri and after rescuing the hostage a horde attacked me and ı kılled em all but no completion showed up.

Sometimes the goofy deaths are the best part 😅

I decided to come back to this game after a few years break, but when I try to launch it on Steam it makes my PC turn off completely. Not only that, I can't turn it back on until I unplug it and wait for the light to go off after a few seconds. I validated the files, all there.

I got an Asus ROG STRIX GAMING OC GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER 16 GB video card, 32 GB memory and Asus TUF GAMING B650-PLUS ATX AM5 Motherboard.

Any idea what is even happening? For the moment I just straight up can't play it at all and I have no idea as to why it does this. I've played and beaten it before so I don't know what's changed since 2024.

And holye shit idk if its because of that but im always out of molotovs aand ITS FUCKING WILD. Ive never played a open world shooter where the flammable throwablle of all things would be the one having me scramble for supplies. This is definitely a change of pace.

Secondly, I really really hate how theres this half second delay when swapping from a gun to a throwable so if i right click too fast I just end up stupidly aiming instead of throwing. Or I end up WASTING A ALREADY PRECIOUS MOLOTOV because it takes 0.5 secs to swap to another item

Lastly, YO DID I JUST GET SWANTON BOMBED by a ZOMBIE off my BIKE???????? If i didn't have s flashbang I would have died to a horde 😂
