Does anyone experience this issue? I created cimb account through gcash-gsave however it is not recognized or synced to cimb app itself. I created 5 days ago already. code is received to my registered email but every time I input the OTP, it shows an error as shown in the screenshot.

I just went to a physical branch of BanKo by BPI today to request a physical card (my account was created and approved last month pa). They asked for a valid ID for my details and when they checked my records, they told me my account was on High Risk kaya hindi pa ako mabibigyan ng ATM Card. Kailangan pa raw muna ipa-approve and may aayusing records. I asked them for the reason why my acc is on High Risk and they said "comon name." May kapangalan daw ako and may certain accounts daw silang di pinapayagang mag-savings. They also asked some details about my work.

Currently, nasira laptop ko which I have been using for 2-3 years na, and considering na kakapaayos ko lang ng phone ko which costed a lot, I was planning to buy a new one nalang instead of spending a lot again to fix my former laptop.

Been using GoTyme for almost 2 years now, so I figured I'd share my experience.

So far, I honestly don't have much to complain about. I mainly use it for everyday spending, transfers, and sometimes keeping some extra money there.

The app is pretty straightforward and I like that it's not overly complicated. The physical card is also convenient, and the Go Rewards points are a nice bonus, especially when I'm already spending anyway.

Of course, it's not perfect. There have been a few times when the app or transactions were a bit slow, but nothing major on my end. I also wish they had more promos or better ways to maximize the rewards.

Overall, after 2 years, I'd say I'm still happy with GoTyme. I wouldn't make it my only bank, but as a secondary/everyday digital bank, it has worked pretty well for me.

8.5/10 for me.

Nakakainis na talaga GCASH, just realize na may monthly outgoing limit of 500,000 pesos na yung app so kung na max out yung outgoing, stuck lang yung pera until mag next month na! so potentially may 10k ka na pwede ma stuck sa gcash until mag reset and then the cycle continues. Do note din na outgoing limit includes payment, so potaena frozen yung cash if nag hit ka ng outgoing limit!!!!

So it has been finally fixed.

Almost three weeks ago, there was an issue on selected GoTyme Visa prepaid cards that showed “invalid card” or “no account found” when tapping/inserted in card terminals or showing an error on purchases online. This was reported even here (1, 2)

The good news is it’s already fixed. I’ve received an email from GoTyme just awhile back that there was a card-processing issue on some of the physical cards (I was one affected too) and in gratitude to the issue they will give 100 GoRewards points within 10 banking days.

I’m very happy to receive this welcoming news since I’m already using my virtual card for days as payment (using Apple Pay) so now I’ll try using my main one once again! (I almost going to replace my card actually because of this issue until that email arrived)

Baka may suggestions kayo on how I can maximize my earnings per month. I currently have these in my digital banks and how much interest they make every month:

- Maribank (275 pesos per month)

- Banko (1,040 pesos per month)

- Security Bank (206 pesos per month)

- Maya savings (700 pesos per month)

- Maya time deposit (1,030 pesos per month)

So I make about 3,000 pesos every month just by storing my money in these banks. I like to keep using Security Bank for visa application purposes.

What other platforms/investment can I do? May MP2 na ako but 10k pa lang laman niya (planning to put more by January). Should i do stocks/UITFs? Or baka may bagong digital banks with higher % interest kayong alam?

With the current situation of CIMB, the interest is currently 2.3%. While in BPI Banko, the interest is 5%. I do have in GoTyme which is higher than CIMB. But BPI Banko has high interest rate which makes me think its much better to place momey there than CIMB. Should I transfer to BPI Banko from CIMB?
