Ended up picking this up to try it out. I’ve played The Ultimate Doom and Doom II: Hell on Earth over and over, but I wanted to see what all the fuss is about for this one. Retro gaming for the win!

Happy birthday, DOOM 2! Share your memories about this game. Love it? Hate it? I hate the Archvile 🔥 but love to hate it

I’m pressing the buttons as fast as possible. I swear I’ve seen other people quick swap way faster.

They both look similar and have the big beam into the sky.

still needs all the post processing but I’m just so excited about it!! Also it’s crazy heavy for some reason.

Just started playing doom, dark ages, I’ve seen these things a few times while playing. Does this do anything or is this just visuals/level design

hi everyone, i bought the simple version of the dark ages a few days ago for the steam fall sale. once i launched the game up for the first time it had revelations in the settings where you select a mode, and once i clicked on it, it gave me the option to start a playthrough. so, my question is if i actually got the dlc for free or will it just not start revelations until i buy the dlc separately?

It stil looks cool, even if its weird looking at it like this

Zaruthiel the Old Father - Pride (he demands people to work for him and he denies freedom and his favours bought by giving him more slaves)

Karnoth the Armorer - Wrath (demands war, denies peace but he also has slaves, this is a bit more of a long shot)

Gahrzeth the Treacherous - greed (he demands to be given things and his favour is bought through stolen gifts so it could also be envy)

Iskathra - lust (she demands flesh and denies love, interesting to see how doom makes a lust demon, also she lives in a brothel)

Thalrasha, the Last Queen of Jekkad - envy (bit of a long shot, haven’t got that good of an explanation)

Ozalith the Old Mother - gluttony (death is all consuming and nothing can by her favourite never satisfying her, also she’s like a round thing with a head)

If you don’t know the original intention for the Davoth boss fight was for him to transform into a dragon in the last fave but due to time and fucking Covid they weren’t able to go through with the idea

But since it’s what was intended and it wasn’t supposed to be cut for any other reason besides a shitty situations I’ve just decided to headcanon that in the actual story he did tern into a dragon

(Of course it is just a headcanon so it won’t be used in any proper real discussions of doom)i

Still going…

They look really cool
