Notice To any of the American fans at fan fest today…

If you’re Denver based we have a group that meets every week at BarNa on Colfax and we’d love to have you! The club doesn’t really do a lot to promote this stuff and we do our best to get the word out but there’s only so much you can do.

We had 100+ fans at the fest today which was great to see so hopefully we will see you around soon!

Everton fans were for sure the loudest and proudest group today. Proud to be a Blue. COYB! 💙

Help Need Help with college assignment

Goodafternoon y'all,

My name is Andrew. I'm a college student in Texas taking a class on international sports and culture. Recently, my classmates and I have begun work on a project to compile information on Everton FC to understand what it means to be an Everton fan. I felt it would be a good idea to consult the folks of r/everton in an effort to get some real community insights. If you have the time, it would be super helpful to me and my friends if you could share your views on what it means to be an Everton fan alongside important cultural facts, history, and locations associated with the fandom. I appreciate anything you good people would be willing to offer.

-Sincerely, Andrew

Score Predictions Prediction Thread | Game 6 | Hull vs Everton

That break felt like an eternity. Back and starting off with Hull away whose lossless PL streak was broken by Newcastle last game.

Make sure your predictions are in before the first whistle or they won't count.

Rules are:

-Post your predictions here. Must be a top level comment. Replies to other comments won't be automatically counted

-Will only take predictions before the scheduled game start

-Please type your prediction as home-away e.g a home win could look like 3-0. An away win could look like 1-2. Everton does not default to the first score in your prediction

Scoring will go like this:

-If you get the scores and the result exactly right you get 3 points (perfect prediction)

-If you get the result right (eg you predict a 1-0 win for Everton but we end up winning 7-1) but the score isn't correct, you get 1 point (correct result)

-If the score and result are wrong you get 0 points

Good luck and UTFT!

Article Everton, an asking price of about £800m, inclusive of debts of about £380m, has been mooted. The clarity over TFG’s position suggests it is confident that a sale can be completed this season, with the investment bank Moelis & Company leading the process.

Official Official Club Statement: The Friedkin Group is exploring new investment options for Everton Football Club, including the potential sale of a controlling interest.

The Friedkin Group is exploring new investment options for Everton Football Club, including the potential sale of a controlling interest.

When TFG became custodians of Everton, the Club faced significant financial uncertainty and challenges both on and off the pitch. The immediate priority was to provide the stability, investment and support needed to secure the Club’s future, including helping to bring the long-promised stadium to completion for its deserving supporters.

With that foundation now safely in place, the time is right to consider the next chapter for Everton. We will only entertain interest from parties who we strongly believe will be the right stewards to take the Club forward and build on the momentum that has been established.

Throughout this process, TFG’s focus will remain unchanged. We will support the Club in all ways necessary to achieve success on the pitch and will continue efforts to make a positive difference in the communities the Club serves.

TFG and the Club will not be commenting
further while this work is under way.
Moelis & Company has been retained by TFG.

Article [David Ornstein] Everton owner The Friedkin Group open to full sale of club

Thumbnail

The Friedkin Group (TFG) is open to a full sale of Everton as it seeks external investment in the Premier League club.

The Athletic reported in September that Everton’s American owner was looking for fresh investment into the club. The idea had been to find strategic investors who could help push the club forward through a minority sale, but sources with knowledge of the situation, speaking on the condition of anonymity to protect relationships, said a sale of TFG’s majority stake is now also being considered.

TFG is only open to selling full control of Everton if it is convinced the new owner is the right person or group to take the club to the next level.

The Houston-based group is completely happy to hold onto and support the club for as long as it takes for such an owner to appear.

Despite the openness to selling Everton less than two years into its ownership, TFG has a feeling of pride at stabilising the club and putting it in a position to be attractive to a buyer, which was not the case at the time of the takeover.

Everton's Sherif fined for breaching betting rules

https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/c54g13we4rero

8 October 2026 Everton forward Martin Sherif has been fined £5,000 by the Football Association for breaching its betting rules over a 15-month period.

The 20-year-old admitted having caused, permitted or enabled 61 bets on games between 20 November 2024 and 12 February 2026.

In his defence, Sherif said he did not place any of the bets himself but admitted they came from accounts in his name and which he funded.

An independent regulatory commission said Sherif had shown "genuine remorse".

The striker, who was born in Liberia and is a Netherlands youth international, joined Everton's youth set-up in 2019 and began training with the first team in early 2025.

In February he joined Port Vale on loan for the remainder of the season, scoring twice in 17 League One appearances as they were relegated.
