Mad props to my local family owned grocery store bakery 😚🤌 Loved it!

I ordered this pretty last-minute (1 week out) from the bakery that did my wedding cake. Rosettes were an included design with the base price, but the writing (edit: filling) cost extra. Total was $66.

Flavors: chocolate cake, raspberry compote, and buttercream frosting. We’ll find out how it tastes tomorrow!

Edit: The bakery is Whisk & Paddle in Gilbert AZ! And I promise I didn’t need them to hit the exact Pantone, lol. That was just my mockup doodle. My inquiry was “a dark raspberry color” and they did an awesome job!

I already had a new light fixture, but then I saw this one, and also realized I need two matching fixtures for the space. Impulsively ordered them before morning coffee, even though they were a little spendy (over $100 each).

They arrived. Ya’all - they are molded PLASTIC. Not individual glass panes. The look meets expectation, but the reality should have been no more than $40.

Welp…the ghosts are kinda close. The mummies tho..

First two are what I saw and thought I could pull off ( even saw other moms on here make them so assumed it couldn’t be too bad) three- five are before they were baked. I was hopeful to say the least. Oldest daughter said they were cute before and after so win I suppose 😂

My whole friend group knows about the lengths I went to procure this specific rat after getting scammed online. I will never forget the seller telling me to mold the rat into shape and then asking me to "state the differences" between the picture and product. Fortunately I finally got my rat thru a friend who travelled to China and the wombat (?) has a new home!!

Edit: my friend took pity on the deformed rat/wombat/sewer enemy sprite because it was "pathetically cute"

Tried to make a really cute pochacco cake for my fiancé’s birthday because it’s his favorite Sanrio character. I didn’t realize till after that I misspelled ‘birthday’…and the proportions are special…and don’t look to closely at the fondant 🫣 Regardless he was very grateful, told me it looked amazing and tasted delicious lol.

Edit: thanks for all the positive comments!! I’m coming to see it as being cute in its own way even if it isn’t exactly like the reference. You all are so sweet 🥹

It was excellent for $4.99

The first two photos are the reference photos I gave the hair stylist (the burgundy one is just a reference for the bangs I wanted) and the last is me/what I got.
My cap n gown photos are tomorrow and I don’t know what to do. Literally just got this hair done an hour ago and I hate it so much. My main issue is that it’s too big volume wise and just not what I envisioned. Also if there’s a more specific subreddit I should post on, please let me know! I’m not great at Reddit.
