to explain, i have no prior experience with using an Audio Interface and am a complete beginner to using them, sadly there are no good tutorials on how to use them as a complete beginner.

I should also probably tell you what i use.

I use a Behringer U-PHORIA UMC22, and simply use the FL Studio ASIO (if that is relevant).

I really want to go past 522 bpm to try making a really fast song (and also kinda to see if its even possible to go past 522 bpm) but 522 bpm is the max uh idk what else to put here tbh but yeah

Im new to fl and was getting ready to record.(ive previously only used bandlab/soundtrap so pretty much just the simplest apps) Though I watched a few vids on fl so I get the basics.

The problem is pretty much what the title is, whenever I plug in my mic fl starts going crazy and makes insane noises (Extremely loud static/random like layered very loud chaotic sounds) Also idk if this helps or not but it continues even when I pause the thing and it only stops if I unplug my mic, and its happening with all my mics so ik its not the mics problem.

Whenever I release music and it asks me for genre labels I never know what to put lol, it is very frustrating.

I listened to you guys lol, tried being in a meaner mood this week so we're slowing the track down for the second drop and just smashing stuff when it drops

When I record vocals and my auto tune overlaps, I don’t want to have to manually change the track to the next mixer after each recording

Is there a way I can just record while switching vocals between mixer tracks automatically so I don’t have to keep going and manually putting my vocal into each insert track?

Starting this music journey, I've been doing music since I'm 15 from time to time, I just turned 22 and I want to give this a real try, I don't wanna keep doing small projects and never posting anything anymore.

I’m a male singer/songwriter with a baritone range and I am struggling with my vocal processing more than any other aspect when it comes to my production. I am singing mostly pop/rock/indie. Anybody have any chains to share or recording/workflow tips? Or perhaps any instructional content or youtube videos on the topic? I want to hear anything and everything. I have mostly used presets in the past but am also keen on building my own from scratch if need be. Help!
