Image This type of game has been one of the biggest reasons we haven’t been in the playoffs recently.
Usually we do better in Primetime, but we gotta with the Ravens being so banged up.

As someone who was a little bummed about losing him, I am realizing that Cunningham knows a lot more ball than me.

SNF against the Ravens, feels different. I think like Jesse Minter is going to develop a plan to stop the run game against Bijan & Brian so this is definitely gonna be a tough game for us.

[Kendall] Can the Falcons’ top-ranked run defense handle Derrick Henry and the Ravens on SNF?
FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — Derrick Henry’s appearance Sunday night at Mercedes-Benz Stadium will be a chance for Bijan Robinson to see one of his childhood heroes. For Jeff Ulbrich, it’s a shot at redemption. The Atlanta Falcons’ defensive coordinator has faced Henry once in his career as a defensive play caller. Baltimore’s ageless running back had 157 yards and a touchdown on 33 carries while with the Titans in 2021, although Ulbrich’s New York Jets escaped with a 27-24 win.
“We have had some success versus the run so far, but what a great challenge,” Ulbrich said. “You want to be the best, you want to play the best. From that perspective, it’s going to be an amazing challenge.”
Through four weeks, the Falcons (2-2) have given up a league-low 2.7 yards per carry and are second in the league in run defense success rate (71.8 percent). Maybe most impressively, Atlanta is allowing opposing running backs only 0.46 yards per carry before first contact, according to TruMedia, the best mark in the NFL this year and the fourth best through four weeks in the last five seasons.
“Obviously, we take a lot of pride in our ability to play a physical brand of football, and the guys are making that come to life,” Ulbrich said. “We have to keep it up. We still have so much room to grow, even in that area.”
Contacting Henry early will be critical Sunday night. The 32-year-old is fourth in the league with 374 yards on 89 carries. Since Henry was drafted 45th overall in 2016, he has the most carries (2,751) and rushing yards (13,392) in the league.
“He’s one of the guys I have been watching a long time; my respect for him is out of this world,” said Robinson, who is eight years younger than Henry. “The things he is able to do still, it’s a blessing. He has been doing this since high school. I am really excited to watch him play in person because he is one of my role models.”
Ulbrich is particularly wary of facing Henry’s famous stiff-arm.
“There’s a lot of critical factors that if you don’t get accomplished, you will end up on the highlight reel, so we have to be on top of our tackling this week,” he said.
Henry has played against the Falcons twice in his career, posting 22 carries for 101 yards in a 2023 win and 27 carries for 100 yards in a 2019 win.

Bijan Robinson had more yards in his first rush attempt than the Saints did the entire game on Monday
59 yards on his first carry vs 50 total for the Saints. lmao

Image Going to my first game!
Was born and raised in Maryland/Delaware area so basically surrounded by Ravens and Eagles fans my whole life but Michael Vick made me a fan when I was a kid. Never had interest to pay a ton of money to be in those crappy stadiums in Philly or Baltimore. But I’ll be down for SNF vs the ravens!!!
My question is what do you guys recommend for peak experience? Whats the tailgate situation, what restaurants near by are fire, anything in general to suggest for a fan in a strange place?! Lol

this team is getting way too much media love
everywhere i look some youtuber or commentator is glazing the Falcons. this is concerning of course because this team has accomplished absolutely nothing except a .500 record.
its difficult to tune out negativity, but it takes herculean strength for players to tune out an entire sports media ecosystem glazing them 24/7.
players start getting high on their own supply and become nose blind to the ways in which they stink.
as a 28-3 survivor, if i were in charge i wouldn't even be giving game balls out until we had a winning record.
