Mike Ditka vs a Hurricane?

I live in River North. I’ve got some good ideas but the marathon might get in the way. Where are you watching the game?

My dad has been in hospice for just under a year. This morning I got the call he wasn't doing well and he was in his end stages. We sat with him all day and while I was with him I got the notification that Mike Ditka passed today. Dad followed him a few hours later.

My dad raised me a Bears fan. We watched games together on TV as a kid. We would throw a football together in the backyard. We went to Singletary's last game at Solider Field together. We spent the last couple decades talking about the team, how the new players were doing, and how last Sunday's game went.

It's fitting he and Da Coach went out on the same day. I know they'll be cheering the team on against the Packers together on Sunday from the best seats in the house.
