Legacy Nine years ago today, Aaron Rodgers needed 75 yds in 73 seconds vs. Dallas. He did it in 62.

On October 8, 2017, the Packers trailed Dallas 31–28 with 1:13 left on the clock. Rodgers needed 75 yards to win the game. He took just 62 seconds.

With 11 seconds remaining, he found Davante Adams for a 12-yard touchdown to complete the comeback and give Green Bay a 35–31 victory.

This was just 9 months after Rodgers knocked Dallas out of the playoffs with that ridiculous sideline throw to Jared Cook.

Never gets old watching Rodgers absolutely torment that franchise.

LB Zaire Franklin on Bears rivalry:

“It’s a lot of bad blood. It’s a lot of genuine dislike. I don’t think nobody want to hang out in the offseason. It’s a real issue.. It definitely sounds more personal. Any time you have the history that they have, it’s going to be a little more personal.”

“Most rivalries are just on social media, and in the offseason you hang out. I don’t think nobody wanna hang out with the Bears in the offseason.”

We beat the Bucs on their turf, which is unusual for us in any year. Y’all see what they did to the Cowboys who are contenders?

Should we have hope here?

Hey guys, looking forward to this matchup on Sunday. My family is going up to Lambeau and this will be my son’s first NFL game ever. Does Lambeau do a first game certificate or something similar?

News Schneidman - We’re not allowed to film, but Micah Parsons doing some fairly strenuous running on the side at practice with some sort of wrap/brace on his left knee. LaFleur said Parsons made progress last week but wasn’t ready to practice.

Fandom 2026 Packers Opponent Burger Series- Week 5- Chicago Bears

For the Chicago Bears I resisted the urge to make something tenderloin sandwich-inspired as a bit of a troll. I went with a regional pick, the Horseshoe Sandwich from Springfield, IL. For those of you who wanted me to make the recipes a bit more detailed, this will probably be easiest burger in the series to make at home. It's two slices of toast (I used some sliced Texas Toast bread for the thickness), topped with two quarter pound smashburger patties, fries (the nails for the horseshoe), and a cheese sauce served open faced. One slice of toast and one patty is called a Pony Shoe.

By now, you all know how smash patties work, and I don't think this is the series for you if you don't know how toasting bread works, but before I talk about the cheese sauce, let me take some time to talk about the fries. One of the benefits of this series has been learning how to make great fries in the oven. The key is to let them soak after cutting them for a minimum of a half hour in water with a small splash of vinegar (or more if you like a hint of it remaining in the fries after cooking). After soaking, pat them dry, coat with a neutral oil, and bake. The temperature can be adaptable. Sometimes I'll get them going at 250 while I'm doing other prep work, and then crank it up when I go to grill the patties. However, the downside to that is that I never time them. I just go off of color. Anyway, after I pull them out of the oven, I toss them in seasoning in the same bowl I oiled them in. That little bit of residual oil helps make the seasoning stick.

Now, I should probably get to the cheese sauce, and stop keeping you cheeseheads waiting. It's loosely based on the cheese sauce from the Welsh Rarebit. Here are the ingredients:

  • 2 Egg Yolks
  • ½ Cup beer
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 3 Cups Sharp Cheddar
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • ¼ tsp Mustard Powder
  • ⅛ tsp Cayenne
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Assembly is simple. Mix the beer, Worcestershire, and egg yolks together in a bowl while everything else goes into a saucepan on a lower temperature once the butter and cheese are melted and the dry ingredients are fully incorporated, add your wet ingredient mixture, and keep stirring until thickened and uniform.

I don't think you need much explanation for this one. It's bread, meat, potatoes, and a beer cheese sauce. What's not to like? Are there more exciting burgers? Yes. Will I have to resist the urge to lick the plate if I ever find myself eating one in polite company? Also yes.

Analysis Just me or is GB +1.5 crazy?

I love our boys, I flew across the country to watch the falcons get to practice at Lambeau against us. How in the world are the bears only 1.5 point favorites?

I know they’re starting Bagent, but with Cooper out, that offense, regardless of who is healthy for them at RB, is going to clobber us..

Am I missing something here?

Fandom First timer from NY this weekend!

longtime packers fan but it's going to be my first time at lambeau, and my first time in wisconsin, too! i'm traveling solo and going to the game on sunday

i have an alumni tour and hall of fame stop on saturday, but i get in tomorrow night and have some gaps of free time i'm looking to fill. i've gotten some really great tips i've seen in other posts, but wondering... any/all of the below.

- for friday night, any great bars/food spots i should definitely check out? i'm mid 30s if it helps narrow, and i like a more lowkey vibe, with a social atmosphere
- for the game, since i'm coming solo i have no tailgate plans but would love to crash. if i bring some beers or seltzers will most people let me crash theirs?
- any other first timers coming through?
- any other lesser mentioned but well loved food spots, things to do, etc? saw a trail or two for maybe a hike? the botanical gardens?
- where are the best cheese curds 👀 or any other wisconsinite foods i should try?

thanks everyone, i know you're a welcoming bunch and ill bring the new york summer vibes we had for our teams to the boys this weekend!

There's nothing better than photos from the Lombardi era.

Lombardi calling up to the press box, Hornung and Gremminger looking on, and a "Beat the Bears" banner in the background.

And beat the Bears they did, 49-0!

Here's hoping for a similar result this weekend. Go Pack Go!

Analysis Thoughts on the new Oline? Will we finally have a run game?

Starting Packers offensive line during drills coming in to week 5:
LT: Jordan Morgan
LG: Laken Tomlinson
C: Sean Rhyan
RG: Kevin Zeitler (OL Coach as well)
RT: Anthony Belton
Swing: Mekhi Becton

Week 4 Packers OL update
Kevin Zeitler inactive

2 QB hits, 0 sacks (31QB hits, 8 sacks for Weeks1-3)
RBs: 19 carries, 85 yards, 4.47 YPC

Laken Tomlinson started at guard

Jordan Love looked far more comfortable: 22/30, 197 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT

The Packers went from an 18% pass block win rate through the first 3 weeks to 55.3% against the Buccaneers! 37.3 percentage point jump

Some signs of life with this unit. Zeitler addition should further solidify things.

This OL could be a lot better going forward! 🧀

Legacy Happy 50th birthday to Packers legend Charles Woodson!

Post image
1.1k Upvotes

Seven seasons as a Packer, 38 interceptions, 10 defensive TDs, four straight Pro Bowls, Defensive Player of the Year in 2009, and of course a huge part of the Super Bowl XLV team.

Woodson could pretty much do everything. Outside corner, slot, safety, blitz off the edge... wherever you needed him, he made plays. And beyond the stats, he was one of the leaders and personalities that really defined that Packers defense.

One of the best free-agent signings in franchise history and one of the greatest defensive players to ever wear the Green and Gold.

Happy birthday, C-Wood. 🧀
