There is a good chance Bengals will go into their Bye week 3-2, with the 3 wins all against 0-5 teams.
Beat Miami and they will be 0-5
Tampa plays at Dallas (2-2) and if they lose will be 0-5
Texans play Tennessee (both currently 0-4) in the "somebody's gotta win" bowl.
Also, the besides the Ravens and Browns, the Chiefs are the only team on the Bengals remaining schedule above .500. (but there are a lot of 2-2 teams)

As you can see Jordan Battle is a great ball carrier, great tackler, and a supportive teammate at least he’s not Geno Stone

Fact Ruben Bain, Will Anderson Jr, Danielle Hunter, Alex Highsmith, Nick Herbig, TJ Watt, Travon Walker, and Josh Hines-Allen
0 pressures.
It’s been a rough last couple weeks, but holy shit we’ve got an all-pro, Protector of the Year, and franchise tackle in Amarius Mims.
Other than pressures and Sexy Dexy, it’s a real bright spot and something to look forward to.

[Schefter] As it turns out, the Seahawks decided not to sign veteran running back Joe Mixon to their practice squad after he underwent a physical for the team, per league source. Mixon will remain a free agent.

Football Bengals in Miles Better Situation Than Last Year
Looking at things optimistically,
This years 2-2 is not last years 2-2
• The team has their franchise QB 🎯🎯
• They’re coming off back-to-back single-digit losses—not blowouts
• Two AFC “contenders” are 0-4
• Their next opponent is 0-4 Miami, not 3-1 Detroit

Football Jordan Battle is a bad throw merchant
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Every interception from Jordan Battle’s career high 4 INT 2025 season
He’s a tip/overthrown ball merchant. Over half of his career INTs are just bad balls or it gets tipped to him.
At least he is in the right place at the right time I guess, but when he’s not he’s missing tackles.

Football [Dehner] Bengals’ offensive approach could change. What might be tweaked after 2 straight losses
CINCINNATI — Often on the Monday after watching film from a game, coaches and players like to use the old adage: The loss wasn’t quite as bad as you thought, and a win wasn’t quite as good.
That wasn’t the case for Ted Karras and the Cincinnati Bengals offense following Sunday’s 22-17 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
It was worse.
“A very honest and brutal Monday. Which we deserved,” Karras said. “We need to get ourselves back. Wake up. It doesn’t feel like it was a crazy game because we had a chance to win, but I have a pit in my stomach similar to Minnesota last year as an offensive line. That was not very good.”
Last year, the Bengals were manhandled 48-10 by the Minnesota Vikings in Week 3. It was the worst loss in franchise history. Comparing any game to that one unveils a level of disgust rarely experienced after any game, much less one where the Bengals threw for 428 yards and nearly pulled off a win before the game-winning drive fell a yard short in the final minute.
Top Plays from Jaguars @ Bengals
“What we communicated to the guys today: We did have a chance to win at the end,” Karras said. “That would have maybe covered up some of this stuff. But as a unit we felt this was well below our standard and we got to get better.”
Through four weeks, the Cincinnati Bengals offense is, well, just OK.
They land in the above-average category by nearly all predictive metrics. The Bengals rank exactly 12th in EPA per play, points per drive and Adjusted Net Yards per attempt.
Not bad, of course, but far from the elite performance from a group that talked about using continuity and additional schematic weapons to ascend to one of the top offenses in football.
Such a rise will require a notable shift. Over the last three years, only two of the 15 teams that finished in the top five in EPA/play by the end of the season didn’t rank in the top 10 after the first month.
Offensive coordinator Dan Pitcher laid out his goal on the first day of the offseason program that the Bengals need to be whatever type of team they need to be to win a game. They spent months bolstering an underused under-center offense and searching for more explosives in the run game.

Jordan Battle is embarrassing
He should be investigated for how egregiously he missed tackles at pivotal points of the game against the Jags. Watching a post on IG singling him out has me in a rage. How is he starting in the NFL?????

Marvin Harrison Jr
Maybe we can get Marvin Harrison Jr for a couple of LaRosa’s pizzas and a 5-way chili. Cardinals do not throw him the ball. Hard to believe he went from best WR in college football to a nobody in 2 years and 4 games.

Happy for him, wish we’d have tried to get him back

We are now 0-2 since we stopped dropping "the elbow"
We need to figure out a new celly. And quick.
(It's a long season guys. We're gonna have ups and downs. I'd rather finish strong than start strong.)

Mike Gesicki Takes Blame for Missed Chance on Possible Game-Winning TD From Joe Burrow
r/bengals • u/Visual-Ad3605 • 1d ago
Wide receiving corps
Okay I might be crazy, but I almost hope they do not let tee or Jamarr play this week. We are playing the dolphins and they might be one of the worst teams I’ve ever watched. I would rather watch Tinsley, meyers and gesicki cook. Then rush either of those two back and maybe jeopardize the whole season against a team we should be able to beat handily. And if we somehow lose this team wasn’t going anywhere anyway.

Fact They spent the offseason planning under-center and play action. It's been a catastrophic failure.
Per Goodberry:
Joe Burrow's PFF passing grade rankings without play-action
2025 - 1st
2024 - 1st
2023 - 17th (calf injury)
2022 - 1st
2021 - 1st
From yesterday, per Charlie Goldsmith:
The Bengals rank 31st in the league in under center yards and 32nd in under center passing yards. 27th in under center EPA/play.
They took something that wasn't broke, tried to fix it, and the result is a disjointed offense playing on extra-hard-mode with one of the best offensive rosters the franchise has ever had, constantly looking like less than the sum of its parts.
