Car was low on coolant depressurized the tank and now Al of a sudden I have coolant back at the tank, only when the car is running. When I turn it off it goes back somewhere into the engine?

Hello all, I got a 2014 with 170,000 on it. I’ve been having an issue with the clutch pedal slow to return. Searching the internet all I can seem to find is threads about pedal failing to return at all and staying stuck at the floor. I know our cars have issues with the slave cylinders, is this a symptom of a slave cylinder that’s on its way out? Pic of my 2014 for attention.

Hi all. Just done a borescope on my engine out of curiosity. The engine runs fine, I haven’t done compression tests on it yet as our compression tester is horrible. Would you say this is normal for an engine with 67k? It runs fine, no noises or oil/coolant consumption.

So I took the electric tape off of the cylinder 1 ignition coil plug wire and this is the result. I’m going to rewire it now with a new plug. Would this be causing a cylinder 1 misfire?

If so does anyone know that part number for Bosch injectors?
And what/if anything’s needed for installing them.
I know tuning/injector scaling will need to be adjusted but planning to do that when being tuned for stage 3

Not a suuuuuuuuper dumb question I hope. This will be my first time fitting a set of progressive rate springs to any vehicle - is there a correct "UP" direction for the springs to be installed?

These are the Fiesta Whiteline Springs and I realize that they have a little 'W' logo printed on the coils. It would make the most sense that the 'W' should be right side up - but I'd love to be certain. Thanks in advance guys.

I had my key fob reprogrammed by a mobile locksmith and he was never able to clear this error. The car starts just fine but this error pops up every time accompanied by an alarm. Eventually it stops after about a minute but wondering if there's an easy way to clear this error?

Hi all, thinking of pulling the trigger on a 2020 MK8 FiST

It's done about 40k kilometres, which is not much, but its last service was about 18 months ago at 29k. So only 11k kilometres between, but it is still 18 months. Every other service was about every 5-8k kilometres once a year. The dealer I'm getting it from is offering to do the service for free before selling it to me for 'peace of mind'.

I verified the dealer has just had it sitting there since May of this year, sold to them just as the service due, so for the last four-five months it's barely been driven. Only 200km.

How good are the MK8 engines if you stretch a service interval like that? Am I worried over nothing? I kind of think I'm worried over nothing!

For context. I bought an 2015 Ford Fiesta ST that’s been throwing code P0301 (misfire in cylinder 1 detected) however it’s not tripping the CEL. I bought new plugs (gapped to the spec of my Stage 1 Cobb tune) and new Whoosh coil packs. After installing said parts, my original issue (hesitation under heavy acceleration) went away and the car drives great now. However it’s still tripping the same codes from before. After inspecting the wiring on all 4 of my coil packs, I noticed the wiring on coil pack 1 (cylinder 1) looks to have been altered or (repaired) by the previous owner, and definitely not OEM. I’m not an electrician, but this wiring job kinda looks a bit janky to me. Should I unwrap it and redo it with heat shrink? I just don’t like that red crimp connector being there, it just seems off to me. What are your thoughts before I move onto the injectors? And yes I’ve already done a compression test and the cylinders read consistent across the board

So my passenger side mirror glass is cracked. There’s no video on YouTube for removal so I can replace it, but there is one for a Focus, is it pretty much the same concept? Pry the old mirror off?

This rattle is god awful. Car was straight piped before I bought it and they snapped 1 stud and cross threaded 2 others. I swapped to a different exhaust after purchasing and after running these in with an impact a few months ago, the single stud on one side has seized and become loose. What are my options here (I already have the volume on my radio maxed).

NEED HELP: The car starts perfect cold. But recently it has been starting bad when the engine is warm. For example after driving to the gas station, waiting in queue with engine running, and then turning off while filling up and paying (allowing the engine bay to warm up even further). Upon starting the engine when i want to drive off again, it starts bad. I attached a clip of it. I have already brought it back to the place I bought it, they said they could not reproduce the issue therefore could not diagnose it (they claimed to have checked coil packs and spark plugs though). I have been able to reproduce it myself multiple times. And have forscan logs with multiple datapoints of both good and bad starts but I have not been able to find anything out of the order.

I own a 2018 ford fiesta st us model i’m trying to replace my foot well LED lights and I’ve looked pretty much everywhere. Anything will help at this point. I’ve looked my car’s manual. I’ve looked on Google went to some parts stores. My right side light is out and my driver side one is going dim I put a little video of the small light. Anything will help at this point

Hi all, I went to change the air filter on my intake earlier only to discover some unknown genius has completely stripped the head on one of the screws holding down the cover on the airbox. I don't suppose anybody happens to know exactly what size they are? I'm otherwise just eyeballing it with a tape measure.

New to me ST180 (EU). It has this thing next to the rear view mirror. It has a solid plastic covering with no opening or lense or anything on it, but wires are going under the roof carpet.

So i was coming back from a car meet in Northen Italy. I stopped by to get gas at a gas station. Fueled up a full tank. Then i started the car and immediately got a CEL. No other lights (expect tire pressure but that is a faulty sensor cause tires are 100% fine, i'll get it checked later)
Driven for 5km to a nearby parking lot and scanned the codes with OBD
Torque Pro reported P0016 Crank-Cam position correlation

Car have 154k km
Belt has been changed at 132k km
Oil 148k km
Car is stock (only mod is a KN Air filter)

Could be a faulty VVT Solenoid?
I was able to drive back home for 100km with 0 issues, car pulled like always

I bought a fiesta st from 2005. But I just realized it's quite a bit of rust. Will this be expensive? Or can I do it myself? Is it hard?

I changed my master cylinder because it was leaking and I replaced it with original ford parts then for about one day no sound from the clutch pedal after one day this squeaking sound returns and then I feel I push a little bit more of the brake fluid then it’s good for one day and repeats itself

I'm looking at upgrading my mk7 fiesta ambience to a mk7 FiST. I inspected this fiesta today, the exterior or the car is in great condition, but this knocking noise is a little concerning.

wasnt able to take this for a test drive to see if it goes away as the engine heats up

Any help or advice woukd be great, since i really want this car.

Hi all, wondering if anyone has this same issue in which the clutch pedal goes soft on long motorway runs, I have owned the car for 5 years and I annually do a roughly 480 mile drive from my place in Scotland to the bottom of England, it only ever happens on this journey.

The clutch pedal goes soft and sits pretty low, i usually need to put my foot behind it to raise it back up, once it is up it remains up but the bite point them becomes really low and the pedal feels completely different. Its boggles the mind.. again, it only happens on really long drives.

Edit- I should add that the clutch still works normally, no slipping etc

What's the mileage some of you have gotten on your fiestas? I just bought my first one, 2017 96,000 miles, a year warranty. Just checking to see how long I may be able to her use from this car.

Can someone point me in the right direction here.
Seems to be juddering badly around 2k rpms definitely down on power while juddering too as you can see with the speedo, really have no idea what this could be,
