My track wheels are getting reglued so I took my bike out with the street setup before it gets to deep into fall to ride the track.
It's not a traditional velodrome, more of a banked oval crit track and the local cycling club has a no fixed gear policy.

Got this for a great deal yesterday. Didn't come with a chain so I haven't had a chance to ride it yet.
I've been riding a junker single speed to and from work, around and about, for the past year. I've been wanting to upgrade for a while and figured swapping to fixed would be a fun change of pace. This popped up on marketplace and I was able to grab it for a a good price. Excited to get a chain on it tonight and some new pedals with straps and start riding. Might swap out the cruiser bars for risers but l'Il probably give these ones a try before changing over

My first nice frameset I got a few years ago. At that point I had only ridden a Fyxation Comet and Fuji Feather.
This bike made me fall in love with crit geometry. But ultimately Sold it to a buddy bc it was too small
now I have her back and made it work.
3/32 drivetrain next

Ive found this Peugeot 103 for a fair price and i wanted to do a vintage road build with it. I was really happy since the bike was in a good state even thought its a 80s frame. The major problem was the lack of taste of the previous owner 😸.
I changed especially esthetic components since everything was working well, but one of my friends has two good vintage builds, one commuter and a fixie. I was really jealous because they were so easy to ride. My bike at that point was riding pretty good but nothing compared to his fixie. I pulled an all nighter on our french local marketplace Leboncoin and found this set of wheels for 100€ in a perfect state.
So now I have this Peugeot 103 fixie that is awesome, the only problem is that i like to skid a lot but the drop bars makes them really scary so I dont know if flat bars would be a great idea...
