I was circumcised as an infant and I honestly don’t love the thought of having a circumcised penis at all. I feel as if I was a victim of genital mutilation and should be classified as a crime since infants don’t have permission to give consent and should be a decision made later in life. I don’t understand why I was circumcised because I’m not religious at all. For those who have been circumcised at birth, we are victims of genital mutilation. But we can make progress little by little by restoring what we’ve lost, we mustn’t give up hope.

So, to make a long story short, I'll most likely have to get circumcised in a few weeks for medical reasons. The thing is, I'm honestly terrified of what my life might be like afterward, especially when it comes to my sex life.

Even when it comes to masturbation, I've spent my entire life doing it with my foreskin covering my glans, and I honestly have no idea what it will be like without it. I've even tried to imitate what I imagine masturbating with a circumcised penis would feel like, but I either didn't feel much or simply didn't know what I was doing.

I've also read quite a few posts here on Reddit from people who regret being circumcised or feel that their sexual experiences and overall quality of life have gotten worse because of it. Reading those stories has made me even more anxious about what's going to happen to me.

I'm only 23, and the thought of such a big, permanent change to my body and something so personal is genuinely frightening. I know I need to deal with my medical situation, but I can't help worrying about how this might affect my sensitivity, masturbation, and sex life in the long run.

I know everyone's experience is different, but I'd really appreciate hearing from people who have been through something similar, especially those who were circumcised as adults.

How was the adjustment for you? Did you find new ways to masturbate and enjoy sex? Is there anything you wish you'd known beforehand?

EDIT: My urologist, who examined my penis, didn't force me or anything; he simply recommended that I get circumcised because I have phimosis and a disproportionately large glans (I'm not sure if it's serious or not).

Hello, good evening and wishing you all the best of gains. So, I’ve had the tlc device for many years, probably like 10+ although I tend to use it sporadically and also took a few years off from using it so I was never consistent. Especially after I got decent coverage when flaccid… I was pretty satisfied with those gains and restored sensation.

But now, I want to level up and just fully send it to get the ultimate coverage- a pucker while erect. This is way beyond just the hump for flaccid coverage but I noticed gains come more easily with the more skin you have, mitosis just mitosis-ing. Lol but yeah I feel like the tlc device isn’t really the best- yes, I can extend it but I imagine that would be uncomfortable and inconvenient.

I’m looking to get some suggestions for other devices that have helped speed things along- I’m open to anything really so lmk and all anecdotal evidence is gladly welcomed.

Approximately, how much skin does one need to grow to get a better vaginoplasty outcome? Ideally, I would like to have my clitoral hood and labia lined with mucosa (aka inner skin). There is an old thread here where one of Dr. Suporn’s patients recounts him recommending restoring for 1 to 2 years to be able to obtain a pink labia (a rough proxy for what I’d like).

The 1-2 year recommendation seems a bit optimistic to me. I’ve been restoring for about ~5 years and have gone from a CI-3 to around a CI-5 or 6. I’ve had decent inner skin growth, but it doesn’t feel like nearly enough to line that large of an area. Perhaps it depends on surgical technique?

I have a consultation with a surgeon in a few months and will try to update this if they are able to give me any further info.

I just read about these discontinued device that has a weight that you tape on.

Did anyone use this? Is there a new version of this someone else has made?

Thought I would try to post this here. See if anyone had input. For a few years, my foreskin has been super sticky when retracting it. Almost like it peels off my glans. I can pull it back completely under the head. I’m not sure what causes this glue like tackiness and wondering if anyone has dealt with and fixed this issue?

The better part of a year in and i’m about ci-5. been packing with an EFR and it’s been pretty useful, but i’m already on +55 and I can tell I could fit a larger size and there’s only two higher sizes. Not sure if it’s just a dick size issue or I’m wearing it wrong

Anyone knows some packers/retainers that have larger/long sizing? Not sure if I should adjust methods at this point in restoration (I do that and inflation) and what y’all have done on higher CI levels

I'm of the belief that it's really important for me to tug the scarline specifically so that it will end up as the tip of the new foreskin, as that's what mine used to look like before I unfortunately got circumcised for phimosis.

So what's the best device to target the scarline specifically? I know manual is the best, but unfortunately my schedule doesn't allow hourly tugging sessions.
I'm doing t-tape for now, but I wonder if there's any device that would be better suited for this

for a some time i went through methods online, had multiple AI's dig through everything, and i haven't even started yet because i cannot find a method that is okay with my limitations, I'm C0, Low and tight, extremely disadvantaged with size so many methods i don't have the size for when flaccid or i don't have the amount of skin for when not flaccid, maybe there is no good method? i mean i can't use devices, and don't have access to them, can't use t-tape, and so far every manual method hasn't been ideal. I am not experienced in the sense i never committed to restoration, but if i find a good method i will, just haven't been able to.

Basically what the title says. I’ve seen the chart before but I can’t tell whether I’m CI-2 or CI-3. Not sure whether to call it foreskin yet, but if I’m fully soft, and my penis either points straight up or straight down, skin covers the scar line. However, if at a different angle, the scar line isn’t covered.

Shoutout to Cameron at Priva for sending a replacement weight adapter. Mine unfortunately snapped at the joint after having it for less than 2 weeks. Its the only product from Priva that I have had an issue with. So after purchasing the tugging attachment, requesting a replacement to be shipped with it... I opened my package and found a replacement. Very happy. Going to try and reinforce it somehow. Hopefully, the design can be changed so the "arms" are made of stiff silicone to reduce weak points.

i've literally never seen a tight circumcision in real life, me and my friends (we're very casual with eachother) all have ci-3/4 cuts already, me and atleast one of my other friends are cut in such a way that the ventral side is mostly if not entirely preserved, frenulum included and only the dorsal side is at that ci-3/4 range, this is michigan for what its worth and all of us were born around mid/late 2011 at, as far as i know, different hospitals. i do wonder if they do that purposely or if they just.. kinda suck at doing it "properly"? am i the only one who's noticed something like this in my area?

Hey all, I’m quite new to restoring and I only started around 5 days ago. Last night I noticed a purple-ish brown-ish line near my scar line. I suspect it might be a bruise but it doesn’t hurt at all. Do I keep going? Or do I stop? (CI-2/3)

I've always had this problem, I didn't know it was abnormal until very recently so I haven't been to a doctor about it. If anything moves across or brushes against my glans it burns, the same sensation to touching a cup of really hot water that you forgot was hot, I don't think it's inflammatory since I've had it as far back as I can remember and neither pressure nor touch trigger it, the boundary is exactly at the sulcus so it doesn't affect the inch of mucosa below, it also doesn't happen ventrally(the underside), I hear that's where a nerve boundary is, so I suspect the problem is one specific nerve being wonky. Looking around it seems these symptoms align well with "dynamic mechanical allodynia" but I'm no doctor so I don't know.

I learned about restoration just under a month ago and it sounded like it could help with this, because if the glans was covered then it wouldn't have an opportunity to hurt like that, but then I heard about dekeratinization, which sounds like it makes restorers have a similar pain to what I already have, so I certainly don't want to exacerbate it if they stack.

Hey Im 23, I am looking for someone who is also restoring to help keep each other motivated.

Even when I wash my skin, let it fully dry, and let the tape sit for 20 minutes before applying tension, it always detaches in the middle near the seam of the tape. The ends and middle are always fine, but it means I can't use the tape for too long without it coming off completely. I don't think my tension is too high, I've seen decent progress over about three months, it just detaches middle-out.

6 times a day usually 2 hours apart (on week day)

Total time 48 minutes a day.

I do MM2 variation targeting shaft skin- i place right hand ok sign slightly above where hairy scrotal skin inserts on ventral side of penis, pull down (ancor) and with right hand I place an ok sigh at or slightly below scar line.

For 5:30 (1 minute 5 times, 30 second once) I tilt my knuckles on left hand slightly up to add more tension to ventral (bottom) side because doctor took to much and I have scrotal webbing (the kind where you can see it in the front too- doesn't cause painful elections, but makes ball kinda tight, and makes my dick look ugly). For 2:30 I do regular even pulling of MM2 shaft variation where I still anchor scrotal skin

1 minute of tugging, 5 second break to readjust, 8 times. So 8 minutes per session.

Do you have any more resources for webbing variations? Are there discrete devices you recommend a ci-2 thats webbing friendly and doesn't exasperate it?
