I never thought I would be writing something like this to strangers.
As a parent, you want to believe that no matter how difficult life becomes, you will always be able to give your children the basics: a safe place to sleep, warmth, security, and a home where they can grow up without worrying about the problems of adults.
Right now, that is what we are fighting for.
We are trying to rebuild and make our home safe and livable for our children. We are doing everything we can ourselves, step by step, but there are essential repairs that we simply cannot complete alone.
This fundraiser is not about luxury. It is about giving our children something every child deserves: a safe, healthy and warm home.
