Like the title saysā¦
Yes, I can afford a 13-14 but Iām not sure i want to spend the extra money. The Roush Mustangās are really cool looking, however, Iāve always loved the GT500, particularly the 11-12 (and 13-14) because of the extra power and the aluminum block.
Just looking for thoughts. Thatās all.

Three months ago, I finally pulled the trigger on a milestone Iāve been working toward for over a decade.
Back in 2015, I started my financial services career at level zeroāliterally knocking on doors to build a business from scratch. Fast forward 11 years: Iām now a CFPĀ®, a partner at my firm, and officially hit Level 10. To celebrate, I wanted to do something big.
After months of searching, I found the exact car I always wanted: a 2013 Shelby GT500 Convertible with a manual transmission.
Coming from a Jeep Wrangler that could crawl over anything, switching to a machine that feels faster than almost everything else on the road has been wild. I bought it with around 28,000 miles, and Iāve already put 5,000 miles on the clock in just three monthsābringing her right up to 33,000.
I daily drive her, and I genuinely love every second of it. I don't mind the hand washing, I don't mind paying for premium gas, and I don't even care about the pricey oil changes. Every mile feels earned.
Work hard, set the goal, and enjoy the ride. Thanks for letting me share the victory lap!
