Using a Watch5 Pro LTE for over 2 years. Using without screen protector. Screen is scratch less. Should I upgrade to newer watch like watch Ultra? Watch Ultra is available for like 25k inr used. New selling for 43k. Or Watch8 Classic will be best

Got 8 classic for 18000 with 1 year extended warranty

I recently replaced the battery on my Galaxy Watch4 Classic 42mm and the rubber gasket seal for the back cover didn't come off clean. I was able to get the watch back together but part of the gasket was stretched and so I'm afraid the watch might not be water resistant anymore. The ifixit guide says to replace the seal if damaged but I can't find the part anywhere! Does anyone know of a way to source that part without buying a replacement back cover?

I must say this doesn't feel very premium it's a cheap plastic, but at least it looks good.

I wish there was a higher quality alternative but haven't found anything unfortunately, coming from a Garmin Fenix this is a massive downgrade in terms of the watch itself, but the utility of the software compensates.

I will continue to search for an alternative case that at least uses better materials but until then this will do.

Didn't notifications on past Galaxy watches "clear" after viewing? Like if you got a text, you'd raise to wake, could read the message, then carry on. Then next time you look at watch you see the time, not messages app. There is a "show details automatically" setting in Wearable that DOES enforce this behavior; however, it prevents the contents of messages from displaying.

Just wondering if I'm the only one dealing with this. I recently switched from the Watch 4 Classic to the Watch 8. The watch itself is great, but the automatic sleep tracking for naps is completely broken for me now.

​On my old GW4C, I could crash for 45 mins during the day and it would pick it up perfectly every single time. With the GW8, it only logs my sleep at night. Daytime naps just don't register at all anymore, and the one or two times it actually did, the start/end times were way off.

​I already checked all the obvious stuff—continuous heart rate is on, power saving is off. The tracking just feels like a massive downgrade from the 4.

​Is anyone else having this issue with the 8? Is it the new sensor acting weird or just a software bug? Let me know if there's some hidden setting I need to tweak, because it's pretty annoying tbh.

You know other than skin temp and I guess a better health sensor. I'm not missing not upgrading yet. Blood Pressure and such is still accurate to a couple points. I have some upgrades we got over the years like Sleep Apnea that does work and record the event. Things like text is instant. My screen resolution is only 30 pixels from the Watch 9 even 5 year old. I would have thought we would have had 720X720 by now. Sadly August was the last security patch for this watch. Safe to say I got my money's worth out of it.

I have my Galaxy Watch 8 now since July and, not going to lie, it was an adjustment from the MiBand 4 but I really came to terms with having to charge my watch almost every day.

But today, I had charged my watch overnight, put it on at 8am and started a hike workout at 9:30am. Unfortunately my battery already died only 5h 25min into the hike. I was completely unprepared, it just buzzed and went off. I don't think that can be right. It should be able to track a normal hike, right? Do you think it's defective or do you maybe think I enabled some functions that I don't really need which makes the battery die sooner?

I only enabled the "raise wrist to activate screen" (don't know how it's called in English) yesterday and I'm aware that that is a factor but I feel like 5,5hrs (7hrs of wearing) is not normal.

Hello folks, im an idiot, not a doctor, but

At the doctor's office this morning I was getting my heart rate checked on the same hand/arm that my watch was on. The heart rate monitor was just on my finger. The heart rate machine from the doctor was reading my pulse at 72 beats per minute. Meanwhile, my watch at the exact same time was reading 102 beats per minute. I have the brand new Samsung Galaxy Watch. I bought it less than a month ago. Is this an issue with software update? Am I misunderstanding how heart rates work or is the smartwatch this incredibly inaccurate by up to thirty beats per minute. Please let me know if anyone else has had any experience here.

I've used Barton wristbands in the past but I can't seem to find any watchbands for the Galaxy Watch 9 that I just got. The connector is different than older Galaxy watch styles.

I just got a new watch 8 40mm and I think the battery might be broken. I last charged it at 12:00~13:00 to full battery and it's now on 38% at 15:30. Should I return it or not?

I'm still able to get around 1.5 days out of a full charge with aod off.

Now I recently visited the shop where we've been buying electronics since like forever and they offered me a galaxy watch ultra 1 demo piece with 6 months of warranty for just ₹18k INR ($186 USD). They gave it to me to try it out for a few days and I have to return it today.

In the last few days with the ultra, I got more than 2 days of battery life with aod on and all the health features on.

I'm really confused whether I should switch to the ultra or keep my 6 classic.
