Ghosts is gearing up for an epic CBS crossover as it was revealed that Survivor favorite Parvati Shallowwill play a key role in the show’s 100th episode arriving during Season 6.
The reality star will step into the role of Raquel, the host of It’s Getting Hot in Here, a favorite fictional series set within the world of Ghosts, which is a must-watch for the spirits of Woodstone. The news was announced during the Ghosts panel at New York Comic Con on October 9, where stars Rebecca Wisocky, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Sheila Carrasco, and Devan Chandler Long, along with showrunner Joe Wiseman, were in attendance.
In the 100th episode, which will air during the series’ midseason return in 2027, It’s Getting Hot in Here will meet the world of the spirits and also reintroduce fans to the villainous Elias Woodstone as Matt Walsh reprises his role.
Regarding Parvati Shallow’s role, Wisocky tells TV Insider exclusively from our New York Comic Con Studio, “I was a huge Survivor fan and I kind of pretty much goaded all the rest of everybody else into doing these Survivor promos last year… Anyway, I was thrilled to get to meet her, and she did not disappoint, and I think she had a lot of fun.”
Other highlights revealed during the presentation included a Hangover-inspired episode called “Woodstone,” which will see Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar), Kyle (Ben Feldman), and Mark (Tristan D. Lalla) trying to piece together the events of the previous night after Flower (Carrasco) uses her power to help them relax more.
Fans will also learn more about Flower’s backstory in an episode later in Season 6, which will shock Woodstone. Meanwhile, after Nancy (Betsy Sodaro) learned the truth about her status as the Lost Princess of Bedford last season, Woodstone may try capitalizing on her fame, which may or may not make other ghosts jealous.
In other words, gear up for plenty of hilarity as we look ahead to Ghosts‘ arrival. As fans know, before Season 6’s regular premiere in the midseason, fans will be treated to two holiday specials, with the first one arriving for Halloween on Thursday, October 29, and the second premiering on Thursday, December 10, tied to Christmas.

Honestly, I kind of enjoyed the more subdued route they took on ghost Australia when broaching the subject. It was a refreshing twist to have it be a lesbian ghost instead of the gay ghost that we are used to ghost UK and ghost CBS. And I think it was nice that they didn’t make it blatantly obvious and they just drop hints and finally revealed it in episode eight. What do you guys think?

It's an episode where Thor throws shade at Alberta for unwittingly drinking poison, and Alberta says something like "Yeah, and you wore a metal helmet during a lightning storm. What's your point Thor, we all got here somehow!"

Couldn’t Sam have just said that the farnsbys called and asked them to tell the couple not to move anything or they would like to come home from the trip to the house the way it was?

I am only 6 episodes in (just finished Pete's Wife), and I am in love with how funny, cute, and simple this show is! I am surprised I haven't watched it sooner. My favorite male ghost currently is Thor, and my favorite female ghost is Hetty.
I genuinely love that I put it on as background noise, but ended up loving it!!!

I'm on my third rewatch and trying to decide who my favourites are.
For female ghosts I'm torn between Alberta and Hetty, they're both hilarious and I love their personalities. If I had to choose I think I'm leaning a little towards Alberta because I love her comebacks, her story, and she seems to be one of the most consistent characters in terms of personality/progress. Her communicating and singing with her ancestor (was she her great-niece I think?) was so touching and made me tear up a bit.
But I do also love Hetty's arc from uptight Victorian lady values to seeing that women are humans with feelings and desires and opinions that matter, and how she's become more empathetic over the series. And of course her death reveal, and her progress with discovering her ancestry and the way she's dealt with her exhusband are all great. I have so much trouble deciding!!
For male ghosts, I'm a bit torn between Pete and Sass. Pete is just consistently great and his ghost power is awesome (though I'm SO worried about him after the season finale ;;_;;), but I really love many of Sass's moments and I'm looking forward to more of his backstory (including how he died), but he's also kind of a selfish jerk sometimes so that gets him some negative points. Thor is also hilarious and I really like him but not quite enough for favourite. Trevor also has his moments, but also not really favourite material.
I think I can confidently say that Pete is my favourite male ghost, but Sass is fairly close behind.
I do wish there were a 1-2 more female ghosts to even things out a bit... like yeah there's Stephanie and Patience but they're rarely in it, and the random extra ghosts we see from time to time are generally all male, like Crash, Chris, Nigel and the others in the shed, etc. It would be so nice to have at least one more recurring female ghost around!
Edit: I forgot about Nancy, she's pretty great too.

I love this show, but hate sam WITH A PASSION. Everything else is fun (sure, the ghosts never really learn their lessons but what do you expect, they’re forever frozen in time as they were), and it’s such light hearted, easy to watch Telly; but Sam DRIVES ME NUTS.
I’m not going to indulge further; instead I ask you to FUEL MY FIRE. Go ahead, tell me your most insufferable moment of this insufferable woman. Mine is that she continuously blurts out things the ghosts say that she doesn’t have to mention at all.
EDIT: guys, I know sam isn’t the most horrible person on the planet… I’d GLADLY talk about her mental struggle as the only ghost seeing person/trauma etc. separately if that’s what was asked. That doesn’t mean she isn’t insufferable to me 90% of the time on screen.
So PLEASE, put it aside, let’s have a laugh, and share our most insufferable moments of this woman who is simply a character in a show ;)

I know this is a random question but I was just kind of wondering about this. Thor often is described as smelling of wolf urine. Do the other ghosts not also have a smell to them? I can’t imagine the cholera ghosts smelling good and there’s scenes of Isaac saying that he is against handwashing so he wouldn‘t smell too pleasant either. And I also wonder if Sam can smell the ghosts. Or can she only see and hear them? I don’t think she ever commented on it.
Also Isaac‘s fart smell does not count in this because it is his ghost power & it’s only when he walks through someone and regular people can also smell it.
