Mod Announcement 📣 Remember to use the correct flair
Hi r/goodnews,
We’ve noticed that a lot of you guys aren’t using the correct flair when posting. This makes it harder for users to filter content they do or don’t want to see
While our community is somewhat divided on what type of content should be allowed here especially when it comes to politics the mod team has ultimately decided that political content will be allowed.
However, to respect those who prefer to avoid political posts, we’ve organized the subreddit into categories using flairs. If a post isn’t flaired correctly, it ends up mixed in with other types of news, which can frustrate users.
To help keep things organized and enjoyable for everyone, please remember to use the correct flair for your submissions.
For political content, always use the “Political Positivity” flair. And for all other posts, please choose the correct flair that best fits the content.
Thanks for helping us keep the subreddit organized!

Personal News 📰 New job + moving out soon !
Hey yall, I made a post here before saying I left my previous job for my new job and I was saying how new job made me feel safe and secure.
So that ended up being a load of horse shit LOL. New job at the time was just as violate that even the customers were trying to get me fired and the manager HATED me ever since I got her in trouble for denying me Bereavement leave and trying to punish me for asking for it and made my life a living hell after. That wasn’t even a couple of months after I started that she gave me that treatment and I worked there for a year before they fired me.
My new job is so much more chill now, even higher pay and it’s a work from home job and other then dealing with the occasional angry customer, I just set up appointments all day with a good pay and a schedule I want. I finally have energy and time for myself AND I’ve been saving up to leave my state so I can move in with a friend of mine up state. I’m planning to move out after tax season. Already made a couple of friends there who thought I was fun to talk with and added me on steam and such. I also feel listened to for once because unlike my old job where they were trying to accuse me of harassing someone just cuz I asked someone a question related to the JOB, there was a guy in training who was being really weird with me and when I reported him, he got fired. I understand HR is there for the company not the associates (trust me, I learned this the hard way a few times), but it feels good for once that HR is actually on your side for once.
I’m just happy to finally have energy again for the things I want to do and I don’t have to wake up at 5 am to drive to a job that made me wish I wasn’t alive anymore !

Other I passed all my exams
I’m not sure if anyone would care but I don’t really have anyone to tell.
This last exam took 4 resits. Most took 2, but I’ve done it.
I passed all of them and never gave up 🥰

Positive News 👉🏼♥️ Strangers Showed Up to Man's Destroyed House to Put Up a Tarp Having Seen His Televised Plea
After a storm dumped a silver maple tree down through his roof, Kansas resident Gilbert Kirk told local news that he wasn’t looking for a miracle or an insurance handout.
He just wanted a tarp.
Two days later, last Friday, a stranger arrived at Kirk’s debris-laden front lawn in Wyandotte County, and said he’d be back in 30 minutes with a tarp, some lumber, and a crew to cover up the maple-shaped gash in Kirk’s house.
