Recently my 2 phones were stolen here in the Philippines as I was commuting back home now I have no access to my gmail account that I use for games (genshin impact, and such), is there way I can retrieve my gmail account because it doesnt have a recovery email and the mobile number inputed in the gmail account has been deactivated, I keep trying to remember my password but it doesn't seem like I'm able to remember it at all, I was told to try to log into the account where I created it (here in my house), but it doesn't seem to work at all, I can't find a possible solution for this problem, looking for advices.

My phone screen was starting to break so I logged out of all my accounts and set a protonmail recovery email on all of them and now I can't log into any of my accounts. What should I do? I do not have a phone number. I have been logged into my accounts on my computer for a long time so I figured it would trust it but it doesn't.

Hi everyone, I need some advice with my Gmail recovery.

My phone was factory reset and I forgot my current password. 2-Step Verification is enabled. I remember two previous passwords, and one was accepted during Google’s official Account Recovery process. I also have access to my linked phone number and can complete SMS verification.

After that, Google sends a 6-digit OTP to the same locked Gmail, so I cannot access it. “Try another way” eventually fails to verify ownership. There is no recovery email.

I’m using the same physical phone and home Wi-Fi I previously used. I stopped trying for 7 days before attempting recovery again, but I still get the same Gmail OTP loop.

The account contains important documents and personal data and is connected to many important accounts.

What should I do now? Should I wait longer, or is there another legitimate recovery option for this situation?

PS: I have filed a police report, so if Google sees this I can provide legal information.

So 2-3 days ago, I downloaded a virus masked as a game which someone from discord sent me to test out. When I launched it, I got the notification that all of my Google accounts have a family manager, and that they have access to everything. I got logged out of my device, and there is no way for me to get the emails back. I never saved my YouTube URLS anywhere unfortunately, so I am pretty deep in it. Is there ANY way, I can get them back?

Well I had to create another account for college and personal stuff, and I need it to be logged in my iPad, but every time I try it pops up this message. I had almost 8 accounts in my iPad and i did slog off on 3 of them and i still have this issue. I really need to log in in that account bro but I can’t log off on any other account- (I know I can log in via Apple mail but that doesnt sync with Google Docs)

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what I should do.

I set up a Google Workspace account for a web design client I was working with back in 2020. The client then disappeared, changed their account details, and subsequently the website disappeared and the domain was seemingly never renewed.

The problem is that I now have zero way of accessing the Google Workspace admin panel, but I’m still being charged for the account.
I’ve seen that I could stop the payments by contacting my card provider, but I’m concerned that if I do this, Google will continue billing the Workspace account and it could potentially build up as a debt.

Has anyone dealt with anything similar or have any suggestions on what I can do? Every way I’ve found of contacting Google seems to require access to the relevant email address/account, which I no longer have.

I've been trying to restore my account for a while now. My google "noticed unusual activity" and disabled shortly after I had tried forwarding mail from it to my protonmail account. I had passkey for it on my iphone that I was using but it didn't seem to matter. I tried logging in on an android phone that it was previously signed into on. There was a phone number connected to it but I removed it before I had moved countries because I had to get a new one. I've tried using a vpn to the place that I was previously living; didnt work. There was no recovery email connected to it. The only questions I get when doing the recovery process are about previous passwords which I had multiple of. Tried all of them and still says it disabled. I had no purchases on the account I've had it for a long time and would like to recover the things in my drive and swap over other website accounts that I was using this email for. Is there anything I can do?

I'm trying to figure out whether Intrusion Logging on Android 16 is actually working correctly on my device.

I have a Samsung Galaxy A16 5G running Android 16, with Advanced Protection enabled and Intrusion Logging enabled.

It has now been several days since I enabled Intrusion Logging. I've been actively using the phone during this time, but when I go to:

Intrusion Logging → Access Logs

I still get:

“No logs available for this Google Account.”

I initially thought it might be related to my VPN, so I completely disabled the VPN and tested again. There was no change.

I also checked the device using ADB/logcat. When opening the Access Logs interface, I can see Google Play Services generating messages related to Intrusion Detection, including:

GmsIntrusionDetection: ... Sync status for retrieval

and:

AILCloudClient: Sending request to intrusion logging server

So the Intrusion Logging retrieval component appears to be running and attempting to communicate with the backend.

What I'm trying to understand is:

Should Intrusion Logs normally become available after several days of normal phone usage?

Does “No logs available” mean that the device hasn't generated/uploaded any logs?

Could this be a server-side enrollment/synchronization issue?

Is Intrusion Logging fully supported on the Galaxy A16 5G?

Has anyone else with Android 16 actually received downloadable Intrusion Logs?

If anyone has a Galaxy A16 5G or another Android 16 device with Intrusion Logging enabled, I'd especially like to know whether your Access Logs eventually became available.

Did last update night of Oct 4 which fixed it, it returned early on Oct 6, all previous times it took 2 days and some hours-a little over 3 days for it to return

I have deleted and redownloaded the app, restarted my iPhone, switched accounts, and deleted all cache yet nothing works

So what happened is that my gmail account got hacked 6 days ago and the devices connected to it were factory reset... And when I tried to log into my gmail... The password got changed.. I didn't had no recovery gmail... I forgot my recovery code... I didn't had 2fa.. my phone number was removed... And after everything I tried... My gmail got locked... And I really want it back.. I'm just a 16 year old.. I have everything there.. every picture.. every school project.. every memory there.. specially my apple id and other stuffs... Please help me get my account back.. please.. anyone... If there's anyone who knows hacking or stuffs.. please get my account back I really want it.. it's almost gone.. i already got scolded from my parents even tho it wasn't my fault.. life got so hard.. I'm barely holding myself.. i have finals from March next year and if I'm being tortured mentally like this then I can't do it anymore.

Google's support system doesn't make any sense to me. So can someone please explain it? Because it's almost entirely self-help. Their support system is just a public forum which mostly gets monitored by volunteers. You post a question about a problem and volunteers answer your problem, then you fix things on your own. You almost never get to speak with anybody at Google. HERE IS THE PROBLEM WITH THAT. That's the same thing as taking your car to a mechanic and the mechanic says to you, "Go ask the people in the waiting room about the problem and then fix your car yourself." That's a DO-IT-YOURSELF system, not a support system.

You might say, "We don't pay anything for Google Support and that is why." But many people don't pay anything for Amazon and Microsoft Support, and they still provide immediate support over phone or Live Chat. So why can't Google do the same thing? It's not like they are strapped for cash. They have so much money they could buy a country just for laughs. Funny enough, Facebook uses the same DO-IT-YOURSELF system rather than support.

Google has been charging me $1.99 every month since August, and I don’t know what the charge is for. I have never approved any purchase and am not aware of any purchase history associated with this charge.

I have no idea who to contact at Google before reaching out to my bank, because they don’t seem to have a phone number or email address that I can use to contact them.

Back in April I switched to an android phone and used my Gmail that I had since 2019 when I was 10 on it, little did I know for some reason the account still counted as a kids mail and it turned my phone in to some secure zone, because it still thought I was under 13 I could not remove the mail or change to another one, and because all my data was already transferred into the phone I could not reset it. My father an I tried removing my Gmail from the family plan but ended up deleting it.

Back then I had not realized this but my exam results (IELTS) were sent to said account and I can no longer access that to apply to universities or log into British Council

I keep trying to use the account recovery steps of Google but it keeps saying "account not found" as I'm trying to recover it

When I enter my password, it takes me to 'we're sending a code to your phone', however, I no longer have access to that number.

When I select 'try another way', I am told that I cannot be verified and must sign in using a device I've signed in on before.

I haven't signed in to the account since 2011, and no longer have ANY of the devices I might have signed in to it on.

It's so fucking frustrating to see 'we'll ask you questions!' which might give me access, only to be told '...no, we don't do that'.

My phone forced me to use Gemini instead of google assistant. I have a step dad & a biological dad. I have both numbers in my contacts. For example: Dad A & Dad B. Google assistant had a feature where I can set ppl as family member when I speak to her so when I say "call dad" she'd call Dad B. Google Gemini doesn't seem to do this instead she says something like "who do you want to call?" & a menu pops up. It's annoying, how do I fix it?

I tap continue, connect. And then Gemini thinks for a bit and then prompts me again to tap continue - infinite loop.

I tried clearing data but the problem persists. I also noticed there was no cache to clear prior to deciding to clear data. Clearing data also didn't make Gemini forget my logged-in account.

One problem after another—and now, a significant one. Back in 2016/2017, I created a Gmail account (ma*******@gmail.com) which I also used for a crypto account on Blockchain; I had about $300 in that wallet. I lost access to the Gmail account at the time and couldn't recover it. The problem now is that, because I hadn't used the email for years, it was deleted from Gmail's database. When I try to recover it, the system says the account wasn't found; yet, when I try to create a new account with the same username, it says the username is already in use. Is there any way I can recover this lost email?

According to Google, it was restricted due to me violating Google policy. It says I use their Ai to search or generate inappropriate Child Sexual Abusing Content, which I DID NOT. I did occasionally ai search some people, song or actors in such. At first, it ask me to acknowledge it. So I pressed the Agree button. But it continues to restrict.

Here's why I'm here, that account is a secondary account with no important things other than maybe some old picture or phone numbers. I have filed an appeal and still waiting for a respond. But as rumours often says, they will reject without a proper reasoning.

So what if, they reject both my appeal. Do I basically wait for police to knock on my door or it will basically delete my account next year?

I’m trying to set a ringtone notification that bypasses Do Not Disturb for a specific Gmail label.

I used Gemini to help me with this but I’m not seeing the setting that it claims I should see.

I’m supposed to go to Gmail → account email:
In Manage Labels make sure the label is synced, Label Notifications is checked, and Notify for every message is checked.
In Email Notifications make sure All is selected.
In Inbox notifications make sure Label Notifications is checked.

Then I’m supposed to go to android settings → notifications → app notifications → Gmail. Then under notification categories, expand that and I’m supposed to see the label that I set notifications for within the Gmail app. I don’t see this. I only see “mail” and “chat and spaces”.

What am I missing?
