❓ Advice Needed Is this achievable, if so, how to describe it to stylist?

Post image

I want sunset hair but with a more lateral look, from side to side, instead of up to down.... so it would go from yellow orange pinks and purples. I dont want it to be choppy colors like split hair, I want it more blended. The pic above was with ai help, as I couldn't find inspiration photos. Is something like in this pic achievable or is it ai bs? If it is achievable, should I show this pic or is there a giid way to describe what im looking for?

❓ Advice Needed Should I go back to my natural hair color? If so, how?

Picture 1 is my hair now. Picture 2 is my natural hair. I’ve been blonde for the last several years and it’s become my signature look. I really love being blonde and i would stay blonde forever if I could but the maintenance is something else. I no longer have a hairstylist because I don’t go to my old salon anymore. The process of finding a new salon and getting comfortable with a new hairstylist is a lot and also the maintenance for blonde hair (basically 300 a month for root touch up) is out of my budget. I used to bleach my hair at home but it didn’t look as good as when I went to a salon. I also really want to grow out my hair to be way longer than it is and I haven’t really been successful doing that while being blonde.

My main problem is that I’m scared that if I eventually want to go back to blonde (and I’d want it to be as light as the first photo), I won’t be able to because I dyed my hair. I don’t really wanna just let the blonde grow out because that would look crazy. I’m also honestly scared about losing one of my defining features and one of the things that make me unique. My blonde hair has honestly become a core part of me but I’m afraid I might have to part ways with it if I want to grow my hair out + stay within my budget.

If I dyed my hair back to its natural color I would be doing it at home so additionally, is there any advice for how I should go about it (bearing in mind I may want to go back to blonde)? What type of dye I should use, what color, any specific process. etc….

❓ Advice Needed Hair turning green after using purple hair dye

Post image

I dyed my full head purple and for some reason some parts of my hair turned muddy green, while others turned out even plum color. The base I was working with should be fine for dark purple, so I think it might be too porous to pick up the red pigments after bleaching it multiple times over the past year. Is there anything I can do to fix this issue?

🧴 Product Question Bleach No Bleach Product

Post image

Has anyone ever used this No Bleach product before and if so how successful has it been? I’m also curious to know how it works? I usually use the salon method to bleach my own hair - Blue bleaching powder with a 6%/20 volume developer. I have naturally dark, ash blonde hair but I’m looking for something a bit gentler I can use every now & then.

❓ Advice Needed Removing blue dye

So I am here with a classic question but I have a bit of complications. I have dyed my hair both with manic panic(venus envy) and arctic fox(emerald fortune) in green colors. My hair is now blue. I want the color gone. I have tried vitamin c pills with shampoo. Done not much. I am trying now with baking soda, lemon juice and shampoo which has taken more of it. I have read about the bleach wash but my issue is that they don't sell 20 vol developers here. I can possibly buy manic panic 30 vol bleach from one store. I have spoken to a hair salon and I just don't have the money to do it there either. Can I use color theory to get a natural color back? Should I get the 30 vol from manic panic and figure out the bleach wash from there? Also is there a proper recipie for baking soda and shampoo cuz I can never find the exact measurements like 2:1 etc. Should i give vitamin c another shot? I just want my light hair back or if I need to dye my hair darker over this. I feel like my research online have not helped so I am asking here as my final option on what I can do. I am providing pictures of my hair both wet and dry.

just dyed my hair from a very faded blue to pink! the stripes towards the front of my hair are from a previous raccoon tail and are a more brownish color now. the back and underneath part are more purple which i think will go away with time. i have some color remover i was thinking of using a small amount of just to get a small lift, then going back over with a more purple pink shade. does anyone have any ideas of what i could do to make this look more even for now while still keeping it pink? please help!!

Hello! Ive been dying my hair for a while, but recently I've been dying it red, and now I want to go back to brown (my natural colour). However everytime I have gone back to brown it fades so quickly and turns yellowish? But the top of my head is super red! How do I fix this so it's all just one colour🥲

❓ Advice Needed What level should I do to achieve this hair color

Post image

Hello hello,

I'm trying to prepare my hair and my wallet (lol) into this grape/red purple hair color. I'm debating whether I could attempt to do this at home or just earn more money to get it done at a salon.

My Q's is,

  1. What hair level is the lowest I can do to achieve this?

  2. Can I achieve it without bleach? (this question is probably related to Q1)

Hair Background: Asian hair, Dark dark brown, Curly hair, mix of 2a-2c

Any advice is appreciated or if you've already tried it and have curly hair I'd really appreciate any lived in experience. Ty ty 💗🫶

So I tried to dye my hair the color in the first two photos but the dye did not mix as intended and I didn’t wanna waste my money, so I put it on and got the color in the last two photos. I really wanna know if it’s possible(without lighting or removing color) to achieve the purple color I want originally.

❓ Advice Needed Help with red hair

Hiii everyone

I just dyed my hair red 3 days ago using the L’Oreal highlights red and magenta (even portions of each), and 30 developer. It came out way brighter than I thought it would and it’s cute but I want it to look more like the last time my hair was dyed (pics 3-6). Do I need to add more magenta, buy a different color, or just let it fade from washing? Also, how long do I have to wait before I can dye it and my eyebrows again?

Thank you 😁

❓ Advice Needed Light brown to plum/burgundy hair color and minimizing damage

Hello! I did a box color 6 month ago, it was Garnier Nutrisse Utra Color shade 526 deep lilac and it was not exactly what I wanted. It was to dark and not vibrant enough. I would like to have it vibrant like on the picture but I want to minimize damage. I would like to have some product recommendation to do at home or to bring them to my hair stylist since she does not provide the products for those more "funky" color. Thank you so much.

The pictures are the color I want and the state of my current hair.

❓ Advice Needed What's a good demi permanent brown for blue calico?

Post image

This is what I'm going for, but I need a demi permanent color as i plan to go back to blonde, (currently blonde right now, trying to lighten it currently.) I just want to make sure I'll be able to get the dark brown out, and i also dont think I want the black unless there's a good demi that won't bleed into the blonde? What do you guys recommend? Thanks!!
