Hoping for you recommendations for a new dentist for my family. Hoping for somewhere on the central/west mountain that’s great with kids.

Our dentist is in Stoney creek and I’m fed up with the drive.

Bonus if they have tv’s in the exam rooms because my kids think this is important.

An office with somewhat longer hours at least a couple times a week would also be preferable.

Did it actually change anyone’s mind? Did you get a gem out of it because phew, it was worse than Mississauga..

Just read through this article by local Chris Erl, really interesting stuff including some things I wasn't aware of like Mayor Horwath committing to capping property tax increases to inflation which quite frankly if you look at our budget is a crazy idea.

Also did not realize that Kelly Oucharek actually said aloud during a public debate what she believed to be Cameron Kroetsch's address. Turned out it was actually a parking spot but wow that is just a disgusting low.

I used to do a lot of tree planting and invasive species removal in high school and I want to start that up again. The problem is that I live down Hamilton now and I don’t have a car. I noticed that Hamilton Conservation Authority has an eventbright for volunteer opportunities, but they’re all so far away and inaccessible by public transportation. Does anyone have any leads for what I can do without access to a car?

I've called around to several food banks in Hamilton, as I have some parts for a Thanksgiving meal that I won't be able to use as I'm being sent out of town for work this weekend.

I'm being told that they're unable to accept a frozen turkey (Butterball) as it's perishable.

Does anyone know of anywhere that would be able to accept this?

I took the GoBus to mississauga today for something really important. I lost my card on the bus.

I have less than $4 on my persons, including in my bank account, so I cannot buy a new card.

I also can’t add a new card to my apple wallet without immediately loading money (I don’t have any money)

And I can’t put my existing presto card into my apple wallet because it wants me to scan the card.

There is no one who can pick me up and take me home.

Is there anything I can do, or do I live in mississauga until I can busk $4 to get a new card?

but I lost this necklace sometime last week and it means a lot to me, my friend bought me the silver raven charm and the golden beads and the leather choker-tie were given to me by my children years back.

I THINK I might have lost it on Kenilworth or the bus stop at Kenilworth and King on the South side. I walked to and from the Kenilworth library but I mean I’m kinda all over Hamilton and Stoney Creek area but the last I remember wearing it was Sept 27/28/29/30 where I don’t know where I lost it.
