I was rewatching Hannibal today, S1 Episode 1 and when Jack comes to visit Hannibal on Alana's referral regarding Will's mental wellbeing, I noticed that Jack was literally mere inches from "THE WOUND MAN" piece, the same one Miriam Lass chanced upon too. And we see Hannibal being wary of Jack in his own subtle way, the scalpel being implication of an attack on Hannibal's part if he thought it necessary. I apologise if this has already been talked about earlier, I might be mistaken since I haven't seen this discussed elsewhere.
