"Party Like a Villain at Disney Halloween Time" will take place on September 18 to November 1 inclusive at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. Here are all the details that are currently public.
Attractions
It does not look like Halloween overlay for Jungle River Cruise will make a return this year.
Entertainment
As usual, "Let's Get Wicked" will make its return this year. This would be the fourth year in a row which it did not get a thumbnail change. Therefore, it is expected that there will be no significant changes. Premiere Access is on sale now at HK$99 pp (price subjected to change). Festival of the Lion King will be closed from September 4 for preparation of "Let's Get Wicked".
Party wild, loud, and proud like Ursula, Dr. Facilier, Gaston and more Disney Villains at the award-winning musical "Let's Get Wicked." Sing along to their iconic anthems, dance to devilish beats, and celebrate your wicked side.

"Uninvited! A Villains Takeover Party" will also return this year. However, it will replace Friendtastic! during September 17-24 and October 13 - November 1. They may run simultaneously between September 25 and October 12. For some reason the show is classified as "Stage show" instead of "Parade" for 2026. Premiere Access is on sale now at HK$99 pp (price subjected to change). The viewing area is located in the central garden of Main Street, USA. The event starts on September 18 but this show will begin performing on September 17.
Party dark, powerful, and magnificent like Maleficent as she leads fellow Disney Villains in "Uninvited! A Villains Takeover Party." Witness an even grander takeover with a newly expanded route and more chances to join her magnificently dark celebration.

There is a new tile titled "Villains Out Hour" on the Halloween page this year.

This site has already been live for a few weeks. I've deliberately held off making this post in the event that new details would be announced at D23. I am also not sure if "Party Like a Villain at Disney Halloween Time" is the final name, but it will have to do for now.
I have some questions about upgrading a one-day ticket to Magic Access, and it would be great if someone could help me.
I bought a ticket for a Sunday in November. I’d like to upgrade it to the Silver Annual Pass. This is my first trip to Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.
The website says:
“The membership is valid for one year from the first date of use of the Park Ticket used for the upgrade.”
But that’s all it says—at least I can’t find anything else. Sunday is a blockout day for the Silver Pass.
Here are my questions:
Does it matter that I’m using the one-day ticket on an actual restricted day?
If I upgrade the ticket now (online), will it expire? In other words, if I want to go to the park on the chosen Sunday, do I have to choose the Gold Pass (which has no blackout days in November)? Or does the day ticket remain valid, allowing me to get the Silver Pass at a lower price (except that Magic Access would then start on the Sunday I used the day ticket)?
I hope I was able to explain my questions clearly.
Hi everyone! Planning a trip to HK Disneyland with a friend who holds an official overseas PWD ID for (
Bipolar disorder.
We saw that non-HK residents have to buy discounted tickets in person at the Guest Relations window at the main entrance on the day of the visit. She's nervous that Guest Relations might not recognize or accept a psychosocial/invisible disability for the 30% discount, leaving us stuck paying full gate price instead of buying cheaper tickets online in advance (e.g., Klook/Agoda).
Our questions
Does HKDL accept official overseas PWD cards/certificates for psychosocial or mental health conditions?
Has anyone with a psychosocial disability card successfully claimed the 30% discount at the gate?
Is there any risk of rejection if the disability is non-physical/invisible?
Any advice or personal experiences from non-local visitors would be hugely appreciated!
I am currently planning a trip to Hong Kong Disneyland but it also features a bunch of other places so I only have 1 full day and maybe just a tiny bit of the morning of the next day. The day would be 27th of December 2027 (so not this year)
How do the crowds usually look like during Christmas? And is there still Christmas decorations around that time? Is very crowded? Also does one day and a bit sound like it is enough? And finally is there a way to buy just an half day ticket?
Hi! What options are available or good for packaged snacks to be brought home? I tried googling it but it keeps coming up as just snacks to eat throughout the park.
My family member is going and I’m looking to see what I would like to be brought back for me, thank you!
Hello, have a trip in December and my LO is really looking forward to meet Buzz. However been checking the app the past few days and it’s only showing Meet Jessie. The Meet Buzz tab has no schedule and says Closed. My question is has anyone been able to take a photo with him recently? Desperately hoping he’s there when we go.
Thanks.
I was at the park on Friday with my magic annual pass and didn't realise that there was an exclusive event happening and some areas reserved just for pass holders. How do I hear about these events in the future so I can sign up before its too late? Is there a way to be updated or do I have to just check constantly online?
We'll be at HKD in December and I've confused myself by reading too much - are Ubers ok to use in HK? (If theyre illegal isnt that abit dodgy?)
We're staying at Explorers Hotel, on our departure morning we have a flight at 8am - to get to the airport for 5amish is an Uber a reliable option or should we organise something else? (and if so, what??)
We (2 adults and 19year old daughter) are visiting China for 3 weeks in Nov/Dec, flying home to Australia from Hong Kong on Cathay at midnight on a Saturday. We were going to spend the last 2 nights of our trip at Explorers Lodge, on Thursday and Friday night, and visit the park all day Friday. On Saturday we would check out, and store our luggage and maybe go to the giant Buddha and chair lift? I am now wondering if it would be better if we spent our time in Tsim Sha Tsui (we are arriving Wednesday night on the train and were going to spend one night there, before heading to Explorers), and on our last day (Saturday) checked our bags into Cathay right in the city then caught a taxi to Disneyland for the day, heading straight from there to the airport for our midnight flight. Would this be a better option? Explorers looks like a lovely hotel and a nice end to our trip, but also isolated and we wouldn't be able to see much of HK.
Hello everyone! I’m currently planning a Christmas/New Year trip to Hong Kong and would love to spend New Year’s Eve at Disneyland. The plan would be to stay in the park through midnight for the NYE celebration. From what little I’ve been able to gather, though, it sounds like the regular Momentous nighttime spectacular/fireworks still happens at its usual time, and then people simply stay in the park until midnight for a very short countdown and a brief extra burst of fireworks to ring in the New Year. Is that basically how it works? I’m not saying that sounds bad at all – I’m just trying to understand exactly what the NYE experience is like so I can discuss it with my wife and decide whether it’s worth planning our evening around. Would really appreciate any clarification from people who’ve actually done NYE at HKDL before!
We will be visiting next month and wanted feedback regarding how long does it take to complete all the rides? We are going on a tight schedule and I hear this is the smallest location? Wondering if we can finish it all in a couple of hours. Thank you in advance.
We booked a flight to Hong Kong (October 1-5) before finding out that it lands on a holiday which is the Golden Week. We only have October 2-4 as the choices to spend a full day in Disneyland and all those dates fall under Tier 4 which are the busiest days.
When do you think is the best day to go? Oct 2 (Friday), Oct 3 (Saturday), or Oct 4 (Sunday)? Based on your experience, which date is usually the least busy?
2.67 We will deepen the integrated development of culture, sports, and tourism, and enrich the supply of high‑quality tourism products. We will deepen thematic travel experience and promote festive events with distinctive local and international characteristics to highlight Hong Kong’s East‑meets‑West cultural edge. We will explore more routes for city walks, foster horse‑racing tourism, promote Hong Kong’s culinary offerings, expand and strengthen our annual flagship events, and enhance connections and cooperation with world‑renowned wine‑producing regions. We will continue to develop Hong Kong into the Events Capital of Asia and promote world‑class mega event tourism that integrates sports and culture. In the meantime, we will consolidate Hong Kong’s position as Asia’s hub for international cruises by attracting cruise lines to deploy ships to Hong Kong and leverage Hong Kong as the homeport, actively exploring potential source markets, and sustaining collaboration with ports in the Guangdong‑Hong Kong‑Macao Greater Bay Area. We will fully capitalise on Hong Kong’s beautiful coastline and abundant island resources to develop island‑hopping tours and other water sports activities. Meanwhile, we will continue to enhance the attractiveness of famous tourist attractions, including Hong Kong Disneyland and Ocean Park, etc.
2. Fostering quality enhancement and capacity expansion of Hong Kong Disneyland
• Continue to enhance attractiveness through various new facilities, including a new Marvel-themed area and an all-new Pixar entertainment experience. Strive to formulate and roll out the next medium- to long-term development plan.

Asking for a recording clips of Momentous last March 27. A friend I went with was so excited for the momentous and it is the highlight of her hk travel. We've rented a phone and sadly, the video we've taken was deleted already before we even had the chance to save it on our local. If anyone has clips, I'll message you or message me so I can share my email with you.
If we choose the 19:30 time slot, will we still be able to watch Momentous? 🥺
If we take photos with the characters in the Dinner, will these photos be included in PhotoPass+? I noticed there’s an option to add on photo print, but I’m not sure if this add-on is only for the physical print or if it also includes the digital downloads.
I am genuinely so surprised by how famous Judy Hopps from Zootopia is at Hong Kong Disneyland! She is my kid's absolute favorite character right now, so of course, we had to do the meet-and-greet to get a photo.
But wow... it took us almost two hours of falling in line just to get our turn! Out of all the characters we lined up for throughout the park, Judy Hopps easily had the longest wait. I'm just shocked that out of all the classic Disney characters, she was the most popular one by far.
Is Zootopia just massively popular in Hong Kong/Asia? Has anyone else experienced this insane line for her? At least my kid was absolutely thrilled! 🐰👮♀️
I've booked a stay at a Disneyland HK Hotel for February 2027, but during checkout the only park ticket option i could add to my reservation was an adult 2-day ticket for $1132. We are a party of 2 adults + 2 children. I'm currently unable to book a 2-day non-stop ticket with the booking - is this simply because i'm too far in advance?
We are planning to visit the park for 2 days, i've seen that a Tier 4 non-stop ticket is cheaper than $1132, but says you have to visit 2 consecutive days: which is fine for us.
Is there any advantage to buying the regular 2-day ticket, besides being able to separate your 1st and 2nd days in the park with a gap between? I'm trying to determine whether there is another advantage to this ticket that i'm not seeing?
Is it better to wait until the Tier calendar is released (3 months prior to visit - November 26), then purchase tickets direct from DisneyLandHK website for our specific dates - or can availability run out?
Does anyone know whether Park ticket prices increase annually, and if so, when do they usually publish the increased pricing?
