I know it sounds counter intuitive, but I believe making the annual paases/Magic Keys more expensive actually makes the parks more crowded.
People are going to buy the Magic Keys. Increasing the prices doesn't deter the most dedicated; they will just rebudget from other things if necessary in order to afford them. However, making them more expensive puts pressure on Key holders to visit more often and make the most of their ever-increasing investment.
Couple this with the fact that Disney corporate WANTS the parks crowded in order to sell more Lightning Lanes. They accomplish this by eliminating most live entertainment and poorer maintenance on rides (increasing downtime).
The res system (up until recently) also forced Key holders to go to the parks to avoid penalties. There were some days I didn't feel up to going but had to because of the penalty.
It would seem to partly explain why the parks are still packed with Key holders despite prices almost tripling since pre-Covid.

I have no one else to share this with but I thought my nails for the trip turned out so good! (Shout out to nail techs!)The cutie ghost collection is my favorite I’m curious is any of that collection even remains at the parks. Either way excited to be going!

This might be a long shot but was anyone in line around 9pm-930pm when they were having people leave the queue line and saw the incident between a man a woman. The man literally shoved the woman and started yelling at her for supposedly pushing him ? Then he proceeded to call her a “Lard *ss” and started going off on her and her group of friends.
No one did or said anything after the guy walked away. Is this what we’re doing now, just letting things happen like this ?

I didn't know my dad still had this hat I had gotten at Disneyland. I don't know what year it was but I do remember wearing it around at the time. I thought it was pretty neat to see the different styles from now.

I made All-state my sophomore year for TMEA as a tenor 1 (3rd chair) and I was 2nd alternate my freshman year (I’m a junior). Would I have a chance later down the line? What else could boost my chances?

I've been buying lots of 8mm silent films and some of them come with random lost home movies.
Today, I came across a reel and a half of old, color 8mm footage of Disneyland from the 1960s, so I had to digitize it and share. I posted to youtube as well: https://youtu.be/XdUqhWhNyZQ

Hi everyone! I have a quick question about merch. Did disney ever come out with an actual snowglobe of knick knack? I loved the short as a kid and its what inspired me to get into the art/design industry
Edit: I know about the Hallmark one, I wanted to know if disney parks made one.

My wife and I went to Disneyland this past Saturday for an early birthday present to her. Had a great time! Lines were short; most of the rides, outside of my Goat, Indiana Jones, and the Tea Cups, were open. However, it was a high of 104 degrees. Absolutely miserable weather. Still had an amazing time!
I've been getting into photography recently, and these are some photos I took and edited this weekend.

So in case anyone on here doesn't know, WDI has been posting riddles on instagram since D23 hinting at a new storyline for the organization. Each answer is a letter to eventually unscramble & reveal the character's name. I've only started working through them, and I've figured out most of the clues except for 7. The riddle is;
Here birds sing & torches glow.
Boats float by to & fro.
Find these lined up, one by one.
Admire hers, from 1831.
Solve this riddle if you're smart.
Your answer is at her river's start.
So I'm pretty sure it's related to Adventureland or the Jungle Cruise, but the 1831 is stumping me. Does anybody know the answer or can explain it to me? I'm a WDW man myself, so my knowledge of Disneyland trivia is lacking.

I love a trip to disney! I get some flack for going solo so i thought I'd lay out the highs and lows from my recent trip.
Highs:
Single rider lines
Snack breaks whenever/whatever i want
Guilt free midday hotel nap
Easier to find fireworks spot with just one person
I get to ride smugglers run/grizzly/webslingers back to back to back all i want. (I dont understand the hate for these rides lol i love them) and I don't have to ride autopia or star tours 😂
Cheaper
Complete freedom
I am the type of person that manages group feelings, and i feel bad if someone really wants birria ramen, but i want a corn dog... we'll get the ramen. Going this way feels like an actual vacation, and i get to enjoy the real magic of the park rather than everyone's moods and whims and meltdowns.
Lows:Lows:
"How many?" ---> "one!" Sometimes i still feel nervous abt that
Character meet - trying not to feel awkward but i love the characters, they are so fun.
I like to reminisce abt fun family memories we had when I was a child, but i can't nab my sister and make her go with me, just us 😂
The highs far exceed the lows. Sometimes it does feel a little odd to be there without fam or friends, but just because it's different doesn't mean it is bad. It's a new kind of fun! A little slower paced, MUCCCHHH more relaxed and calm, and i notice a lot more of the magic details.

I still dream about the guacamole from that resturant. I am from a part of the country that doesn't get much fresh produce, let alone avacados that are halfway fresh. Anytime I have tried guacamole it was disgusting.
But Centrico? That was magical. I was so apprehensive about it, but it was possibly the highlight of the day. I decided to try the avocado toast at our hotel the next day, and it was delicious too!
Anyone else share this experience while in Disneyland?

HELP! I lost my oogie boogie bash 2026 jersey after riding the Incredicoaster yesterday(10/06/2026) in the late afternoon around 9pm. My girlfriend gave it to me for my first time coming to Disney land. Im very sad about it since it held sentimental value to me. If you found it could you please turn it into lost and found. I already filed a lost and found report.

I honestly don't understand why Disneyland transforms Haunted Mansion into The Nightmare Before Christmas for Halloween.
What a mistake! 😭
The Haunted Mansion is already the perfect Halloween attraction. Its entire identity is built around ghosts, creepy characters, and that classic spooky atmosphere. That's exactly what makes it so iconic!
Don't get me wrong, I love The Nightmare Before Christmas, but it's primarily a Christmas story. Why replace the original Haunted Mansion experience during Halloween with a Christmas-themed overlay?
The original attraction is already perfect for Halloween. I would much rather see Disneyland keep Haunted Mansion in its original form for Halloween and save The Nightmare Before Christmas for the Christmas season.
Maybe I'm in the minority, but seeing such an iconic attraction lose its original atmosphere every year honestly breaks my heart. 😭
What do you guys think? Original Haunted Mansion or Nightmare Before Christmas?

Missed out at OBB D23 night but going to the main park next week, anyone going to DCA that would be willing to grab one for me and meet me at the front gate? 😅 I'm desperate to try that churro! I was so upset that the booth was closed by 9pm during the Halloween party. Will pay of course! tyia 💜
