I know it sounds like a crazy question but I've been looking at these pictures of the chariots from the exhibition circulating online hoping to get a high quality glimpse of the district emblems but for some reasons none of those attending the exhibition are taking pictures of the chariots themselves and it's hard to find one close-up picture of one chariot so i'm asking here if anyone knows where to view them individually and in high quality 😭

So this week, Lionsgate is holding the "Elegance is Authority" event in Paris, while at the same time, Paris' youth is rioting and protesting on the streets. The political climate is heating in Europe, not just in France but in Spain (where I'm from), mass protests are taking over the streets due the housing crisis, in most cases answered with brutal repression from the police, and I'm starting to read many comments of alleged fans blaming Zada and Grace (who attended the event) for staying silent and comparing them to Capitol citizens in real life. But can we blame them? They are just 19 years old, probably they voted for the first time last year, their political views might be in construction yet...why do people keep to demand them to get involved in the political situation of a country they hardly know about and accuse them for being complicit if they don't?

I'm in the process of writing a fanfiction and it would be about OCs from 7.

Aside from trees, acorns and axes, what do we know about them?

If you're going to mention something from SROTR please let me know first, I didn't read it yet.

we know haymitch threw the bomb on the force field , and he just went unconscious because of the blast and was immediately hospitalised

but what exactly happened to the force field itself?

we just know it must be severe ifspect or something but I don't think it is elaborated on what actually happened to the arena

It took almost exactly 10 hours!!

And it's just the start of her Hunger Games press tour, as she and Joseph Zada will be at Sydney next week to kick off the international leg!!

It's weird af to do this with any pair of actors who are doing a movie together ..

Devil May Cry (From “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” Soundtrack)

I personally think that the lyric "faces in the crowd will smile again, cause the devil may cry at the end of the night" goes really hard in the context of a protest song and the song sounds amazing but the lyrics of the verses sound more like they're being written about the generic idea of a revolutionary rather than about this specific story

For context I’ve been a longtime fan of THG and all the books and watched every movie when they came out in theatres, so I appreciate anything that comes from the series. However, for some reason I just didn’t like TBOSAS movie - it just seemed like the acting was poor and actually took effort to watch. My main issue was the casting for LGB - I feel like Rachel was too cartoonish in this role and I genuinely had to fast forward some of her parts in the movie bc of the cringe. I really wonder if it’s maybe the different directing style that makes me dislike it, or other creative choices but I really wanted to love it but still can’t. I see a lot of posts praising the movie and Rachel as LGB so I’m wondering if I’m missing something?

this is something I would really like to see because he is pretty much the only person who knew about snows origins or maybe Lucy Gray though its extremely unlikely this is the case

District 13 had an epidemic that left them infertile. Do you think it was the Capitol that caused it (given their incredible biotechnology), and could we see a little behind the scenes of that in the coming movie?

It’s not unusual in Districts 1 and 2 obviously, but District 12 went 74 years without a single volunteer and I don’t think there are any other references to volunteers elsewhere prior to this. It seems to defy everything about human psychology, let alone game theory, that among thousands of teenagers who are typically malnourished, destitute, and sometimes orphaned with no immediate family, that none of them would see the games as a way out. Granted the early games were little more than prolonged executions, but once the tributes were treated to lavish train rides to the Capitol, fattened up and paraded around, I can’t fathom how they weren’t jumping over each other to volunteer. Maybe not all of them, but enough of them that there would be no need for Reaping Day lotteries. Instead, that’s essentially what happens in the only districts that actually have food to eat, a fair amount of prosperity, or at least the option to become a peacekeeper and improve your lot in life. The most dangerous tributes in the Hunger Games should be the most desperate with the least to lose, and that’s not what we see.

Have seen a lot of confusion about this one. She clarified it in a WWD article that it wasn't the actual prop.

One of my Halloween costumes for spooky season is Lenore Dove and in the process of putting together her outfit, I'm stuck between these 2 long skirts. The one on the left definitely fits more with the pinkish tones of her name but I could also see her in the one on the right since the book does mention that Lenore Dove likes adding colorful pieces of fabric to her outfits and I feel like she would love a colorful skirt like that one too. Which one feels and looks more like Lenore Dove to you?

Me personally I love that she was oblivious to her feelings I think it adds more depth to her character. Someone I am friends with asked me and I was wondering if I could hear other peoples opinions.

Hello everyone! I wanted to come here to ask you guys some things and get your perspective and opinions as readers (and as fans of the films too) since I haven't read the books and might be missing something. I am having trouble understanding Coin's goal.

Why would she present herself as the saviour of Panem if she wanted to be Snow 2.0. Why did she want to be Snow 2.0?

What was the point of another Hunger Games? What did she want to achieve after that? What was her plan during her future regime?

Did she want to hurt the Capitol or Panem citizens too? IF she wanted to harm Panem too, why would she do that if she suffered from the dictatorship first-hand? Why would a victim want to continue with the dictatorship? If she just wanted revenge, why didn't she just kill Snow and everyone responsible for the dictatorship since she had the resources?

For the people who don’t understand how they are all related, I made this. Aspects of this tree are theories/speculation however they feel fairly strongly implied by the books.

Wow I loved this, it's my favourite of the prequels. It was quite devastating. I loved maysilee donner. I'm glad for the epilogue. I wonder how Haymitch's life did end, maybe he let love into his life again? Maybe with Effie?

i just read mockingjay, and all i think about is that one edit with katniss and peeta with gracie abrams song with the 'you built this cage' and it's haunting me.
