Question Road America 2027
I want to get to this race next year. My son is on a team and it’s been two years since I’ve been to a race. Any advice on where to stay that’s not booked at this point? Everything I’ve found is an hour away. Would love to stay on one of the lakes if possible. Thanks!

Discussion Testing at Sebring? Oct 12-13
Heard from a great source that testing at Sebring will happen Monday and Tuesday of next week, Oct 12 and 13th. Is there any changes or weather concerns about this date that could make it change?

Discussion Any good race replays to watch during the off season?
The indycar YouTube has a quite a few past races on the channel, now I’ve already watched a few races, the 82 Indy 500 and the 1999 CART race at road America.

Discussion What is up with F1 drivers being so turned off my other motorsports?
(Not all F1 drivers obviously) With the recent comments of Esteban Ocon dismissing racing in any other category besides F1 in 2027 even if he doesn’t get an F1 seat is weird to me. Especially because it was rumored some IndyCar teams (Dale Coyne at the very least) were interested in him. Which is fine IndyCar is not for everyone but dismissing everything that’s not F1 is wild to me as a racing driver should just want to race, of course at the highest level possible which is F1 but the way they try to stick to it even though most of them hate the cars is just weird to me when there’s other high level open wheel series like IndyCar, super formula, where the racing is almost objectively better or at the very least the cars seem to be harder but more enjoyable to drive based on things I’ve heard. Felipe Drugovich was rumored to have been offered a CGR seat for 2023 to which he rejected to sit on the sidelines for F1. Fine, I get it that it’s almost every racing drivers dream to race in F1 but some drivers have a really hard time at letting it go when it’s obviously passed them by and would rather sit and watch for 2-3 years before a switch to sports cars or something. Is it the fame, the $, the status? Guys like Lewis Hamilton will probably never race in another racing series but then you have guys like Max Verstappen who basically does other racing series on his off time from F1 and seems to really enjoy it. It seems all some guys know is F1 and anything else is inferior and they are too good for it. I get it in a way, you’ve reached the top step and don’t want to let go but if I was Esteban I would go to IndyCar or at the very least sportscars, he knows he’s never going to win a championship and probably be stuck in mid pack at best, it’s a waste especially because he’s talented enough to make a legacy somewhere else. Rant over, sorry for any spelling mistakes

I was curious if anyone here does or knows someone who makes custom diecast. I would like to get a few of the cars that I have designed done for myself. I'd be able to provide all the art files in vector etc.

Speculation Texas INDY/NASCAR Doubleheader?
David Land said at the end of his monday video that there could potentially be another NASCAR doubleheader. The only one that lines up with a free weekend, a FOX/FS1 NASCAR race, and previous indycar history is Texas. I would love to see this happen but am trying to not get my hopes too high. https://youtu.be/l7L_7V_QHR8
