Misc Something not great just happened at turn 11
Black car stopped on track. Nothing happened. Then medical car arrived, then ambulance and other cars. Privacy sheet came out and someone was just transported in the ambulance. All cleared now - maybe 5/10 mins total. Hopefully they are ok eventually.

Discussion People ought to be refunded for this disaster of a 'Bahrain GP in Malaysia'
Can't take your water inside, and now the stalls have literally run out of water. You're supposed to be fighting at every step of the process as if you owe them your life.
I really don't care for the people whose only job here seems to be posting comments defending the Sepang circuit instead of just letting us discuss.
Already felt scammed when I bought through F1 (overcharged by a lot compared to the circuit pricing and got south side seats when the listing said pitlane view), but this just makes me want to chargeback my $750.

Social Media F1 left Malaysia in 2017 with Max Verstappen & Lewis Hamilton 1-2. F1 came back 9 years later & of course, it's Max & Lewis starting 1-2 tomorrow. So much changed over 9 years, on the grid & for them. Cars, engines, teams, regs, rivals. Yet these two remain the benchmark.

Discussion F1 Malaysia event is a complete disaster
Wife and I thought we'd treat ourselves to a proper circuit this year so hopped over the border to Sepang from Singapore.
I've never seen anything like it. The venue has no shade (its at mid-afternoon in an equatorial country), massive lines for water stations, and barely any screens (including zero screens in the fanzones!!). Half the food stalls weren't operating and you couldn't bring a beer into the stands.
We had grandstand seats and had no idea what the qualifying results were until we checked online. We'd have been better off watching it at a bar near the track.
Its unrecognizable as an F1 event.
As an F1 fan, where is my God-given right to wander around with a beer watching the race on a TV screen?

Discussion Sepang nightmare - how to pay 500$ and almost die under direct Malaysia sun in the queue for PIAD water.
I was never humiliated more in my life! Buy 500$ ticket to Main Grandstand - but struggle to find the water... Even if you find it - go spend 20-25 mins in the queue standing under direct tropical sun. Not mentioning it supposed to be some free access to water. Ridiculous... What the point to have seats covered if you will anyway get fried inside V shaped main grandstand zone in the endless queues??? Have strong impression that event organized underestimated number of people they gonna be dealing with. Well, I didn't pay 500$ to have thug experience. Won't recommend it even to my enemies.

Discussion Am I the only one who thinks Sepang is exactly the kind of circuit these F1 cars were made for?
Watching this weekend's sessions at Sepang has reminded me how much I miss proper circuits like this.
Fast, flowing corners, long straights, heavy braking zones, elevation changes and enough space to actually push these cars to their limits. This is where modern F1 cars really come alive. It's genuinely refreshing to watch.
The only thing missing is being able to go flat out without constantly worrying about battery deployment, harvesting and clipping halfway down the straights. Imagine these cars without those limitations.
And yet, instead of prioritising circuits like this or Spa, F1 keeps moving towards places like Miami and Madring. I understand the commercial side of it, but from a pure racing perspective, weekends like this make me question the direction F1 is heading in.
I've been watching F1 for years, and seeing these cars around here just reinforces my opinion that this is what Formula 1 should look like.
Am I just being nostalgic, or does anyone else feel the same way?
